Peace I Leave With You

“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”John 14:27

Reflection

The peace of Christ is not the world's truce — the absence of conflict or the certainty of a good outcome. It is His own settledness, given as a gift, available even when nothing outside has changed. As this path ends, the practice continues: receive His peace daily.

A prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for the peace that is uniquely Yours, given freely to me. Let it rule in my heart this week and beyond. When fear returns, return me to You. Amen.
