Day 3 · Strength for Caregivers
As unto Christ
“...Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.”Matthew 25:40
Reflection
The quiet, unseen acts of care — the meals, the medicines, the long nights — are never wasted or invisible. Jesus says that what we do for those in need, we do for Him. Your faithful, ordinary service is sacred. The bedside is holy ground, and the One you ultimately serve sees every small act of love.
A prayer
Lord Jesus, it comforts me that the small, unseen things I do are not invisible to You — that in caring for this person, I am somehow caring for You. Sanctify this ordinary work. When it feels thankless or endless, remind me that You see, You honor it, and You are present in it. Let love, not duty alone, be what carries me. Amen.
Carry this with you
How might it change today to see your care as something offered to Christ Himself?
