Following the Shepherd's Voice
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”John 10:27
Reflection
Jesus speaks of His people as sheep who learn to recognize the voice of their Shepherd. You may not hear a dramatic word from the sky, but as you stay close to Him in Scripture, prayer, and wise community, His voice grows familiar. Take a next faithful step, trusting that the Shepherd who knows you will keep leading you beyond today.
A prayer
Good Shepherd, thank you that you know me by name and that I belong to you. Tune my ears to recognize your voice above the noise of fear and hurry. Give me courage to take the next faithful step, trusting that you go before me and walk beside me. I rest in your leading, today and in all the days to come. Amen.
