Day 4 · Doubt & Faith
Anchored in Christ
“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and entering into that which is within the veil.”Hebrews 6:19
Reflection
Our hope is not the promise that the storm will quiet, but a steadying connection to the One who holds us as it passes through. The waves may keep moving, yet something deeper keeps us from drifting. On days when your faith feels thin, what carries you is less the firmness of your grip and more the One you are holding onto.
A prayer
Jesus, be the anchor of my soul today. When my feelings rise and fall like the sea, hold me steady in You. I admit I cannot always sense Your presence, so I choose to trust that You are holding me even when I cannot feel it. Thank You that my security rests in Your faithfulness and not in the strength of my own faith. Amen.
Carry this with you
What helps you remember that God is holding you, even when you cannot feel it?
