Talking with God
“But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret...”Matthew 6:6
Reflection
Prayer is simply talking with God — and as His child, you are always welcome. Jesus invites us to pray to our Father in the quiet, honestly and without performance. You do not need fancy words or the right phrases; you need only come. Like any relationship, closeness with God grows through honest, regular conversation. He is always listening.
A prayer
Father, thank You that I can simply talk with You — anytime, anywhere, as Your child. I do not need impressive words, only an honest heart. Teach me to pray: to bring You my joys, my worries, my thanks, and my needs. Help me make a habit of coming to You in the quiet, trusting that You always hear me. Here I am. Amen.
