Day 5 · Freedom & Recovery
A Way Through
“No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”1 Corinthians 10:13
Reflection
Temptation can feel uniquely overwhelming, as though no one else could understand it; Scripture gently reminds us we are not alone in it. More than that, God is faithful to provide a way through, a door of escape we may not have noticed yet. As you continue, ask him not only for an inner renewal but also for eyes to see the way out he has already prepared.
A prayer
Faithful God, thank you that I am not facing this alone and that you promise a way through every temptation. Renew my heart, and open my eyes to the way of escape you provide. Surround me with people, prayers, and habits that help me walk in freedom. As this plan ends, stay with me into all the days ahead, one day at a time. Amen.
Carry this with you
What is one practical way of escape, person, or support that God may be inviting you to lean on as you continue?
