Hope That Steadies the Soul
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit.”Romans 15:13
Reflection
Christian hope is not wishful thinking or a denial of how hard things are; it is a confidence anchored in the God who raised Jesus from the dead and holds our future. Whatever the outcome of this illness, our deepest hope rests in a love that not even death can break. As we keep trusting Him, He fills us with a joy and peace that our circumstances alone could never give.
A prayer
God of hope, fill me with Your joy and peace as I keep trusting You through this uncertainty. Where my hope has worn thin, let Your Spirit renew it from within. Anchor me in the love of Christ, which holds me whatever may come. May I walk forward steadied by You, abounding in a hope that does not disappoint. Amen.
