Strength for the Day

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”Isaiah 40:31

Reflection

Morning prayer is not one more task; it is where strength comes from for all the others. We do not pray to earn the day — we pray to receive it. Hope in God is the renewable source that striving can never be.

A prayer

Lord, I am prone to run on my own strength until I am faint. This morning I hope in You instead. Renew me. Let me move through this day from rest, not toward it. Amen.
