Day 5 · Praying for Those You Love
Entrusting Them to God
“casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.”1 Peter 5:7
Reflection
After we have prayed and loved, there comes a sacred moment of release, when we place our loved one fully into God's hands and leave them there. This is not giving up; it is a deep act of faith, believing that God cares for them even more than we do. Today we close by casting our worry onto Him, trusting that the One who holds all things will hold this person too.
A prayer
Loving Father, I open my hands and entrust to You the one I have been carrying these days. You care for them more fully than I am able to, and Your love will not let them go. I release my worry, my timeline, and my longing to see the outcome, and I rest in Your faithfulness instead. Keep working in their life long after this prayer ends, and help me to keep loving them and trusting You. Amen.
