Trusting God

Day 3 · Trusting God

The Shepherd Who Leads

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He refreshes my soul.”Psalm 23:1-3

Reflection

A sheep does not plan the route; it trusts the shepherd. Notice the verbs — He makes, He leads, He refreshes. Trust means letting God set the pace, even when He makes us lie down in seasons we would not have chosen.

A prayer

Good Shepherd, I am prone to wander and prone to rush. Lead me today, even beside still waters when I wanted to run ahead. I lack nothing because I have You. Refresh my soul. Amen.

Carry this with you

Is God asking you to move, or to 'lie down' and rest right now? How do you know?
