Day 2 · Strength for Caregivers
Strength in Weakness
“...My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”2 Corinthians 12:9
Reflection
Caregiving regularly takes us past the end of our own strength. That is not a failure; it is the very place God's grace is most at work. His power is made perfect — brought to its fullness — in our weakness. On the days you feel you have nothing left, His sufficiency is not diminished. You do not have to be strong enough; you only have to lean on the One who is.
A prayer
Lord, I have come to the end of my own strength more times than I can count. Thank You that Your grace is enough, precisely when I am not. Let Your power rest on my weakness today. Give me what I need for this hour — patience, tenderness, endurance — drawn not from my dwindling reserves but from Your endless supply. Amen.
Carry this with you
Where do you feel weakest in your caregiving, and can you invite God's grace into exactly that place?
