Day 1 · Discernment
Coming to a Quiet Place
“Show me your ways, Yahweh. Teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth, and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation. I wait for you all day long.”Psalm 25:4-5
Reflection
Before we ask God which way to go, it can help simply to come and sit with Him, unhurried. Discernment begins less with answers than with a willing, listening heart that says, "Show me." The same God who saves you is glad to teach you, so you can set down the pressure to solve everything on your own.
A prayer
Father, I come to you carrying a decision that feels bigger than I am. Quiet the noise within me, and help me to truly want your way more than my own. I am willing to learn, and I am willing to wait. Thank you that you are patient and kind toward me. Amen.
Carry this with you
What would it feel like to bring this decision to God as a learner rather than someone who must have it all solved today?
