Trusting More Than My Own Mind
“Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”Proverbs 3:5-6
Reflection
Our own reasoning is a gift, yet it was never meant to bear the whole weight of our future alone. To trust God with all our heart is to hold our reasons and worries loosely and invite Him into every part of the choice. He does not promise that the road will be easy, but He does promise to be present, guiding our steps as we walk with Him.
A prayer
God, I confess how easily I lean on my own understanding and forget to include you. Today I choose to trust you with my whole heart, even the parts that feel anxious or unsure. I acknowledge you in this decision and ask you to make my path straight. I will follow as you lead. Amen.
