Goodness
“So then, as we have opportunity, let's do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.”Galatians 6:10
Reflection
Goodness is kindness with backbone — a settled bent toward doing right and seeking others' true good. It looks for opportunities rather than waiting for them. The Spirit grows in us not just good feelings but good actions, a life that quietly does the next right thing. Goodness is love rolling up its sleeves.
A prayer
Father, You are good, and all true goodness flows from You. Grow this fruit in me — not just good intentions, but goodness that acts. Open my eyes to the opportunities around me today to do what is right and to seek others' good. Where it is costly or unseen, give me the resolve to do it anyway, for love of You. Amen.
