Peace with Your Past

Day 2 · Peace with Your Past

No Condemnation

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.”Romans 8:1

Reflection

Shame whispers that we are defined by our worst moments. The gospel says something else entirely: for those in Christ, there is now no condemnation — none. The case against you has been closed by Jesus. The voice of shame is not the voice of God. You may still feel the weight of regret, but the verdict over you is not 'guilty' but 'beloved, forgiven.'

A prayer

Father, I have lived under a heavy sense of condemnation, replaying my failures and bracing for Your judgment. Thank You that in Christ there is now no condemnation for me — none at all. Help me to believe it. Quiet the voice of shame with the truth of Your verdict over me: forgiven, accepted, loved. Let me live as one no longer condemned. Amen.

Carry this with you

Whose voice have you been listening to about your past — shame's, or God's?
