The God Who Seeks
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.”Luke 19:10
Reflection
It is easy to feel as though everything rests on us, as if our loved one's faith depends on our perfect words or our best efforts. Yet Jesus describes Himself as the One who goes out searching, the Shepherd who keeps looking until the wandering one is found. Today we can rest in the truth that God is already at work, drawing near to your loved one with a patience and care far greater than our own.
A prayer
Lord Jesus, You are the One who seeks, and I thank You that You are already drawing near to the one I love. Where I cannot reach, You can; where my words fall short, Your Spirit speaks. Help me trust that You are present in their life even now, in moments I will never see. Lift from me the weight of trying to save them, and let me rest in You as both Seeker and Savior. Amen.
