“...Don't be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine.”Isaiah 43:1
Reflection
The world often treats singleness as an incomplete state, a waiting room for real life. Scripture says otherwise: your identity is not defined by a relationship status but by belonging to God. You are redeemed, named, and His. You are not half a person waiting to be completed; you are already fully known and fully loved by the One who made you.
A prayer
Father, thank You that I am Yours — redeemed, called by name, and deeply loved, exactly as I am today. Where I have believed that I am incomplete or less-than because I am single, replace that lie with Your truth. Let my worth rest in belonging to You, not in being chosen by someone else. Help me to live as the beloved, whole person You say I am. Amen.
