Day 2 · Singleness & Trust
A Season with Its Own Gift
“...that you may attend to the Lord without distraction.”1 Corinthians 7:34-35
Reflection
Paul speaks of singleness not as a deficiency but as a particular kind of freedom — the gift of undivided attention to the Lord. This season holds opportunities a busier life may not: time, flexibility, and space to know God and serve others. Rather than only longing for what is not yet, we can ask what good God might do in and through us right now.
A prayer
Lord, help me to see this season not only for what it lacks but for what it offers. Thank You for the freedom I have right now to seek You and to serve others. Show me how to use this time well — to grow close to You, to invest in people, to give myself to what matters. Let me attend to You without distraction, and find that good. Amen.
Carry this with you
What good might God want to do in or through you in this season of relative freedom?
