Day 2 · Trusting God with Money
The God Who Provides
“My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”Philippians 4:19
Reflection
Paul wrote this having known both plenty and want. His confidence was not in a full account but in a faithful God. Notice the promise is to supply our needs, not our every want, and from God's riches, not ours. Provision may come in unexpected ways and timing, but the Provider is sure. We can rest in His track record and His character.
A prayer
Provider God, thank You that my security does not rest on what I have, but on who You are. You have promised to supply all I truly need from Your endless riches. Forgive me for trusting my own resources more than Your faithfulness. Teach me to lean on You, to receive Your provision with gratitude, and to trust You even when I cannot yet see how. Amen.
Carry this with you
Where have you seen God provide before, and how might remembering that steady your trust now?
