El número de los hombres idóneos para la obra de su ministerio, fue: 1 ASIMISMO David y los príncipes del ejército apartaron para el ministerio á los hijos de Asaph, y de Hemán, y de Jeduthún, los cuales profetizasen con arpas, salterios, y címbalos: y el número de ellos fué, de hombres [idóneos] para la obra de su ministerio respectivo:
1 Moreover, David and the captains of the army set apart for the service certain of the sons of Asaph, of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who were to prophesy with harps, with stringed instruments, and with cymbals. The number of those who did the work according to their service was:
2 De los hijos de Asaf, Zacur, José, Netanías y Asarela, a cargo de Asaf, quien cantaba salmos proféticos al lado del rey. 2 De los hijos de Asaph: Zachûr, José, Methanías, y Asareela, hijos de Asaph, bajo la dirección de Asaph, el cual profetizaba á la orden del rey.
2 of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asharelah. The sons of Asaph were under the hand of Asaph, who prophesied at the order of the king.
3 De Jedutún, los hijos de Jedutún, Gedalías, Zeri, Jesaías, Asabais y Matatías, seis, bajo la dirección de su padre Jedutún, el cual también cantaba salmos proféticos al son del arpa para aclamar y alabar a Yavé. 3 De Jeduthún: los hijos de Jeduthún, Gedalías, Sesi, Jesaías, Hasabías, y Mathithías, [y Simi]: seis, bajo la mano de su padre Jeduthún, el cual profetizaba con arpa, para celebrar y alabar á Jehová.
3 Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising Yahweh with the harp.
4 De Hemán, los hijos de Hemán: Buquías, Matanías, Uziel, Sebuel, Jeremot, Hananías, Hanani, Eliata, Gidalti, Romanti-ezer, Josbecasa, Maloti, Hotir y Mahaziot. 4 De Hemán: los hijos de Hemán, Buccia, Mathanía, Uzziel, Sebuel, Jerimoth, Hananías, Hanani, Eliatha, Gidalthi, Romamti-ezer, Josbecasa, Mallothi, Othir, y Mahazioth.
4 Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.
5 Todos éstos eran los hijos de Hemán, vidente del rey, y tenían Palabras de ʼElohim para exaltar su poder, pues ʼElohim dio a Hemán 14 hijos y tres hijas. 5 Todos estos fueron hijos de Hemán, vidente del rey en palabras de Dios, para ensalzar el poder [suyo]: y dió Dios á Hemán catorce hijos y tres hijas.
5 All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
6 Todos ellos estaban bajo la dirección de su padre, en el canto de la Casa de Yavé, con acompañamiento de címbalos, salterios y arpas, para el ministerio del Santuario de ʼElohim. Asaf, Jedutún y Hemán estaban bajo la dirección del rey. 6 Y todos estos estaban bajo la dirección de su padre en la música, en la casa de Jehová, con címbalos, salterios y arpas, para el ministerio del templo de Dios, por disposición del rey [acerca] de Asaph, de Jeduthún, y de Hemán.
6 All these were under the hands of their father for song in Yahweh’s house, with cymbals, stringed instruments, and harps, for the service of God’s house: Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the order of the king.
7 El número de ellos, juntamente con sus hermanos instruidos en el canto a Yavé, todos aptos, era 288. 7 Y el número de ellos con sus hermanos instruídos en música de Jehová, todos los aptos, fué doscientos ochenta y ocho.
7 The number of them, with their brothers who were instructed in singing to Yahweh, even all who were skillful, was two hundred eighty-eight.
8 Echaron suertes para establecer los turnos del servicio, en el cual entraba tanto el pequeño con el grande, tanto el maestro como el discípulo. 8 Y echaron suertes para los turnos [del servicio], [entrando] el pequeño con el grande, lo mismo el maestro que el discípulo.
8 They cast lots for their offices, all alike, the small as well as the great, the teacher as well as the student.
9 La primera suerte tocó a José, de los de Asaf, la segunda a Gedalías, quien con sus hermanos e hijos fueron 12; 9 Y la primera suerte salió por Asaph, á José: la segunda á Gedalías, quien con sus hermanos é hijos fueron doce;
9 Now the first lot came out for Asaph to Joseph; the second to Gedaliah, he and his brothers and sons were twelve;
10 la tercera a Zacur, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12; 10 La tercera á Zachûr, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
10 the third to Zaccur, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
11 la cuarta a Izri, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12; 11 La cuarta á Isri, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
11 the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
12 la quinta a Netanías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12; 12 La quinta á Nethanías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
12 the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
13 la sexta a Buquías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12; 13 La sexta á Buccia, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
13 the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
14 la séptima a Jesarela, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12; 14 La séptima á Jesarela, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
14 the seventh to Jesharelah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

15 the eighth to Jeshaiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

21 for the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

22 for the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

23 for the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

24 for the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

25 for the eighteenth to Hanani, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
