Praying the Psalms

Three days in the Church's first prayer book. The Psalms give us words for every season — praise, lament, and trust — so prayer is never left to mood alone.

Try praying each psalm aloud, slowly. The Psalms were made to be spoken and sung.

1. Day 1: A Psalm of Praise — Psalm 103:1-5
2. Day 2: A Psalm of Lament — Psalm 42:5,11
3. Day 3: A Psalm of Trust — Psalm 27:1,13-14
