1 (14-2) Return, O Israel, unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast stumbled in thine iniquity.
1 CONVIÉRTETE, oh Israel, á Jehová tu Dios: porque por tu pecado has caído.
1 Israel, return to Yahweh your God; for you have fallen because of your sin.
2 (14-3) Take with you words, and return unto the LORD; say unto Him: 'Forgive all iniquity, and accept that which is good; so will we render for bullocks the offering of our lips.
2 Tomad con vosotros palabras, y convertíos á Jehová, y decidle: Quita toda iniquidad, y acepta el bien, y daremos becerros de nuestros labios.
2 Take words with you, and return to Yahweh. Tell him, “Forgive all our sins, and accept that which is good; so we offer bulls as we vowed of our lips.
3 (14-4) Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses; neither will we call any more the work of our hands our gods; for in Thee the fatherless findeth mercy.'
3 No nos librará Assur; no subiremos sobre caballos, ni nunca más diremos á la obra de nuestras manos: Dioses nuestros: porque en ti el huérfano alcanzará misericordia.
3 Assyria can’t save us. We won’t ride on horses; neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, ‘Our gods!’ for in you the fatherless finds mercy.”
4 (14-5) I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely; for Mine anger is turned away from him.
4 Yo medicinaré su rebelión, amarélos de voluntad: porque mi furor se apartó de ellos.
4 “I will heal their waywardness. I will love them freely; for my anger is turned away from them.
5 (14-6) I will be as the dew unto Israel; he shall blossom as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.
5 Yo seré á Israel como rocío; él florecerá como lirio, y extenderá sus raíces como el Líbano.
5 I will be like the dew to Israel. He will blossom like the lily, and send down his roots like Lebanon.
6 (14-7) His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive-tree, and his fragrance as Lebanon.
6 Extenderse han sus ramos, y será su gloria como la de la oliva, y olerá como el Líbano.
6 His branches will spread, and his beauty will be like the olive tree, and his fragrance like Lebanon.
7 (14-8) They that dwell under his shadow shall again make corn to grow, and shall blossom as the vine; the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.
7 Volverán, y se sentarán bajo de su sombra: serán vivificados [como] trigo, y florecerán como la vid: su olor, como de vino del Líbano.
7 Men will dwell in his shade. They will revive like the grain, and blossom like the vine. Their fragrance will be like the wine of Lebanon.
8 (14-9) Ephraim shall say: 'What have I to do any more with idols?' As for Me, I respond and look on him; I am like a leafy cypress-tree; from Me is thy fruit found.
8 Ephraim [dirá]: ¿Qué más tendré ya con los ídolos? Yo lo oiré, y miraré; yo [seré á él] como la haya verde: de mí será hallado tu fruto.
8 Ephraim, what have I to do any more with idols? I answer, and will take care of him. I am like a green cypress tree; from me your fruit is found.”
9 (14-10) Whoso is wise, let him understand these things, whoso is prudent, let him know them. For the ways of the LORD are right, and the just do walk in them; but transgressors do stumble therein.
9 ¿Quién es sabio para que entienda esto, y prudente para que lo sepa? Porque los caminos de Jehová son derechos, y los justos andarán por ellos: mas los rebeldes en ellos caerán.
9 Who is wise, that he may understand these things? Who is prudent, that he may know them? For the ways of Yahweh are right, and the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.
