LSV Literal Standard Version WEB World English Bible (Classic, with Deuterocanon) 1 And YHWH answers Job and says: 1 ENTONCES respondió Jehová á Job desde la oscuridad, y dijo:
1 Moreover Yahweh answered Job,
2 “Is the striver with the Mighty instructed? The reprover of God, let him answer it.” 2 Cíñete ahora como varón tus lomos; yo te preguntaré, y explícame.
2 “Shall he who argues contend with the Almighty? He who argues with God, let him answer it.”
3 And Job answers YHWH and says: 3 ¿Invalidarás tú también mi juicio? ¿me condenarás á mí, para justificarte á ti?
3 Then Job answered Yahweh,
4 “Behold, I have been vile, || What do I return to You? I have placed my hand on my mouth. 4 ¿Tienes tú brazo como Dios? ¿y tronarás tú con voz como él?
4 “Behold, I am of small account. What will I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth.
5 I have spoken once, and I do not answer, || And twice, and I do not add.” 5 Atavíate ahora de majestad y de alteza: y vístete de honra y de hermosura.
5 I have spoken once, and I will not answer; Yes, twice, but I will proceed no further.”
6 And YHWH answers Job out of the whirlwind and says: 6 Esparce furores de tu ira: y mira á todo soberbio, y abátelo.
6 Then Yahweh answered Job out of the whirlwind:
7 “Now gird your loins as a man, || I ask you, and you cause Me to know. 7 Mira á todo soberbio, y humíllalo, y quebranta á los impíos en su asiento.
7 “Now brace yourself like a man. I will question you, and you will answer me.
8 Do you also make My judgment void? Do you condemn Me, || That you may be righteous? 8 Encúbrelos á todos en el polvo, venda sus rostros en la oscuridad;
8 Will you even annul my judgment? Will you condemn me, that you may be justified?
9 And do you have an arm like God? And do you thunder with a voice like His? 9 Y yo también te confesaré que podrá salvarte tu diestra.
9 Or do you have an arm like God? Can you thunder with a voice like him?
10 Now put on excellence and loftiness, || Indeed, put on splendor and beauty. 10 He aquí ahora behemoth, al cual yo hice contigo; hierba come como buey.
10 “Now deck yourself with excellency and dignity. Array yourself with honor and majesty.
11 Scatter abroad the wrath of your anger, || And see every proud one, and make him low.
11 Pour out the fury of your anger. Look at everyone who is proud, and bring him low.
12 See every proud one—humble him, || And tread down the wicked in their place.
12 Look at everyone who is proud, and humble him. Crush the wicked in their place.
13 Hide them in the dust together, || Bind their faces in secret.
13 Hide them in the dust together. Bind their faces in the hidden place.
14 And even I praise you, || For your right hand gives salvation to you.
14 Then I will also admit to you that your own right hand can save you.
15 Now behold, behemoth, || That I made with you: He eats grass as an ox. 15 Ciertamente los montes producen hierba para él: y toda bestia del campo retoza allá.
15 “See now behemoth, which I made as well as you. He eats grass as an ox.
16 Now behold, his power [is] in his loins, || And his strength in the muscles of his belly.
16 Look now, his strength is in his thighs. His force is in the muscles of his belly.
17 He bends his tail as a cedar, || The sinews of his thighs are wrapped together, 17 Los árboles sombríos lo cubren con su sombra; los sauces del arroyo lo cercan.
17 He moves his tail like a cedar. The sinews of his thighs are knit together.
18 His bones [are] tubes of bronze, || His bones [are] as a bar of iron.
18 His bones are like tubes of bronze. His limbs are like bars of iron.
19 He [is] a beginning of the ways of God, || His Maker [alone] brings His sword near; 19 ¿Tomarálo alguno por sus ojos en armadijos, y horadará su nariz?
19 He is the chief of the ways of God. He who made him gives him his sword.
20 For mountains bear food for him, || And all the beasts of the field play there. 20 Not in this translation

21 He lies down under shades, || In a secret place of reed and marsh. 21 Not in this translation

22 Shades cover him, [with] their shadow, || Willows of the brook cover him. 22 Not in this translation
22 The lotuses cover him with their shade. The willows of the brook surround him.
23 Behold, a flood oppresses—he does not hurry, || He is confident though Jordan || Comes forth to his mouth. 23 Not in this translation
23 Behold, if a river overflows, he doesn’t tremble. He is confident, though the Jordan swells even to his mouth.
24 Does [one] take him by his eyes? || Does [one] pierce the nose with snares?” 24 Not in this translation
24 Shall any take him when he is on the watch, or pierce through his nose with a snare?
