YLT Young's Literal Translation WEB World English Bible (Classic, with Deuterocanon) 1 And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'Go in unto Pharaoh, and thou hast spoken unto him, Thus said Jehovah, God of the Hebrews, Send My people away, and they serve me, 1 ENTONCES Jehová dijo á Moisés: Entra á Faraón, y dile: Jehová, el Dios de los Hebreos, dice así: Deja ir á mi pueblo, para que me sirvan;
1 Then Yahweh said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, and tell him, ‘This is what Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, says: “Let my people go, that they may serve me.
2 for, if thou art refusing to send away, and art still keeping hold upon them, 2 Porque si no lo quieres dejar ir, y los detuvieres aún,
2 For if you refuse to let them go, and hold them still,
3 lo, the hand of Jehovah is on thy cattle which [are] in the field, on horses, on asses, on camels, on herd, and on flock — a pestilence very grievous. 3 He aquí la mano de Jehová será sobre tus ganados que están en el campo, caballos, asnos, camellos, vacas y ovejas, con pestilencia gravísima:
3 behold, Yahweh’s hand is on your livestock which are in the field, on the horses, on the donkeys, on the camels, on the herds, and on the flocks with a very grievous pestilence.
4 'And Jehovah hath separated between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt, and there doth not die a thing of all the sons of Israel's; 4 Y Jehová hará separación entre los ganados de Israel y los de Egipto, de modo que nada muera de todo lo de los hijos de Israel.
4 Yahweh will make a distinction between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt; and nothing shall die of all that belongs to the children of Israel.”’”
5 and Jehovah setteth an appointed time, saying, To-morrow doth Jehovah do this thing in the land.' 5 Y Jehová señaló tiempo, diciendo: Mañana hará Jehová esta cosa en la tierra.
5 Yahweh appointed a set time, saying, “Tomorrow Yahweh shall do this thing in the land.”
6 And Jehovah doth this thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt die, and of the cattle of the sons of Israel not one hath died; 6 Y el día siguiente Jehová hizo aquello, y murió todo el ganado de Egipto; mas del ganado de los hijos de Israel no murió uno.
6 Yahweh did that thing on the next day; and all the livestock of Egypt died, but of the livestock of the children of Israel, not one died.
7 and Pharaoh sendeth, and lo, not even one of the cattle of Israel hath died, and the heart of Pharaoh is hard, and he hath not sent the people away. 7 Entonces Faraón envió, y he aquí que del ganado de los hijos de Israel no había muerto uno. Mas el corazón de Faraón se agravó, y no dejó ir al pueblo.
7 Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not so much as one of the livestock of the Israelites dead. But the heart of Pharaoh was stubborn, and he didn’t let the people go.
8 And Jehovah saith unto Moses and unto Aaron, 'Take to you the fulness of your hands [of] soot of a furnace, and Moses hath sprinkled it towards the heavens, before the eyes of Pharaoh, 8 Y Jehová dijo á Moisés y á Aarón: Tomad puñados de ceniza de un horno, y espárzala Moisés hacia el cielo delante de Faraón:
8 Yahweh said to Moses and to Aaron, “Take handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the sky in the sight of Pharaoh.
9 and it hath become small dust over all the land of Egypt, and it hath become on man and on cattle a boil breaking forth [with] blains, in all the land of Egypt.' 9 Y vendrá á ser polvo sobre toda la tierra de Egipto, el cual originará sarpullido que cause tumores apostemados en los hombres y en las bestias, por todo el país de Egipto.
9 It shall become small dust over all the land of Egypt, and shall be boils and blisters breaking out on man and on animal, throughout all the land of Egypt.”
10 And they take the soot of the furnace, and stand before Pharaoh, and Moses sprinkleth it towards the heavens, and it is a boil [with] blains, breaking forth, on man and on beast; 10 Y tomaron la ceniza del horno, y pusiéronse delante de Faraón, y esparcióla Moisés hacia el cielo; y vino un sarpullido que causaba tumores apostemados así en los hombres como en las bestias.
10 They took ashes of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward the sky; and it became boils and blisters breaking out on man and on animal.
11 and the scribes have not been able to stand before Moses, because of the boil, for the boil hath been on the scribes, and on all the Egyptians. 11 Y los magos no podían estar delante de Moisés á causa de los tumores, porque hubo sarpullido en los magos y en todos los Egipcios.
11 The magicians couldn’t stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boils were on the magicians and on all the Egyptians.
12 And Jehovah strengtheneth the heart of Pharaoh, and he hath not hearkened unto them, as Jehovah hath spoken unto Moses. 12 Y Jehová endureció el corazón de Faraón, y no los oyó; como Jehová lo había dicho á Moisés.
12 Yahweh hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he didn’t listen to them, as Yahweh had spoken to Moses.
13 And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'Rise early in the morning, and station thyself before Pharaoh, and thou hast said unto him, Thus said Jehovah, God of the Hebrews, Send My people away, and they serve Me, 13 Entonces Jehová dijo á Moisés: Levántate de mañana, y ponte delante de Faraón, y dile: Jehová, el Dios de los Hebreos, dice así: Deja ir á mi pueblo, para que me sirva.
13 Yahweh said to Moses, “Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and tell him, ‘This is what Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, says: “Let my people go, that they may serve me.
14 for, at this time I am sending all My plagues unto thy heart, and on thy servants, and on thy people, so that thou knowest that there is none like Me in all the earth, 14 Porque yo enviaré esta vez todas mis plagas á tu corazón, sobre tus siervos, y sobre tu pueblo, para que entiendas que no hay otro como yo en toda la tierra.
14 For this time I will send all my plagues against your heart, against your officials, and against your people; that you may know that there is no one like me in all the earth.
15 for now I have put forth My hand, and I smite thee, and thy people, with pestilence, and thou art hidden from the earth. 15 Porque ahora yo extenderé mi mano para herirte á ti y á tu pueblo de pestilencia, y serás quitado de la tierra.
15 For now I would have stretched out my hand, and struck you and your people with pestilence, and you would have been cut off from the earth;
16 'And yet for this I have caused thee to stand, so as to show thee My power, and for the sake of declaring My Name in all the earth; 16 Y á la verdad yo te he puesto para declarar en ti mi potencia, y que mi Nombre sea contado en toda la tierra.
16 but indeed for this cause I have made you stand: to show you my power, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth,
17 still thou art exalting thyself against My people — so as not to send them away; 17 ¿Todavía te ensalzas tú contra mi pueblo, para no dejarlos ir?
17 because you still exalt yourself against my people, that you won’t let them go.
18 lo, I am raining about [this] time to-morrow hail very grievous, such as hath not been in Egypt, even from the day of its being founded, even until now. 18 He aquí que mañana á estas horas yo haré llover granizo muy grave, cual nunca fué en Egipto, desde el día que se fundó hasta ahora.
18 Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as has not been in Egypt since the day it was founded even until now.
19 'And, now, send, strengthen thy cattle and all that thou hast in the field; every man and beast which is found in the field, and is not gathered into the house — come down on them hath the hail, and they have died.' 19 Envía, pues, á recoger tu ganado, y todo lo que tienes en el campo; porque todo hombre ó animal que se hallare en el campo, y no fuere recogido á casa, el granizo descenderá sobre él, y morirá.
19 Now therefore command that all of your livestock and all that you have in the field be brought into shelter. The hail will come down on every man and animal that is found in the field, and isn’t brought home, and they will die.”’”
20 He who is fearing the word of Jehovah among the servants of Pharaoh hath caused his servants and his cattle to flee unto the houses; 20 De los siervos de Faraón el que temió la palabra de Jehová, hizo huir sus criados y su ganado á casa:
20 Those who feared Yahweh’s word among the servants of Pharaoh made their servants and their livestock flee into the houses.
21 and he who hath not set his heart unto the word of Jehovah leaveth his servants and his cattle in the field. 21 Mas el que no puso en su corazón la palabra de Jehová, dejó sus criados y sus ganados en el campo.
21 Whoever didn’t respect Yahweh’s word left his servants and his livestock in the field.
22 And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'Stretch forth thy hand towards the heavens, and there is hail in all the land of Egypt, on man, and on beast, and on every herb of the field in the land of Egypt.' 22 Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Extiende tu mano hacia el cielo, para que venga granizo en toda la tierra de Egipto sobre los hombres, y sobre las bestias, y sobre toda la hierba del campo en el país de Egipto.
22 Yahweh said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the sky, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, on man, and on animal, and on every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.”
23 And Moses stretcheth out his rod towards the heavens, and Jehovah hath given voices and hail, and fire goeth towards the earth, and Jehovah raineth hail on the land of Egypt, 23 Y Moisés extendió su vara hacia el cielo, y Jehová hizo tronar y granizar, y el fuego discurría por la tierra; y llovió Jehová granizo sobre la tierra de Egipto.
23 Moses stretched out his rod toward the heavens, and Yahweh sent thunder and hail; and lightning flashed down to the earth. Yahweh rained hail on the land of Egypt.
24 and there is hail, and fire catching itself in the midst of the hail, very grievous, such as hath not been in all the land of Egypt since it hath become a nation. 24 Hubo pues granizo, y fuego mezclado con el granizo, tan grande, cual nunca hubo en toda la tierra de Egipto desde que fué habitada.
24 So there was very severe hail, and lightning mixed with the hail, such as had not been in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
25 And the hail smiteth in all the land of Egypt all that [is] in the field, from man even unto beast, and every herb of the field hath the hail smitten, and every tree of the field it hath broken; 25 Y aquel granizo hirió en toda la tierra de Egipto todo lo que estaba en el campo, así hombres como bestias; asimismo hirió el granizo toda la hierba del campo, y desgajó todos los árboles del país.
25 The hail struck throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and animal; and the hail struck every herb of the field, and broke every tree of the field.
26 only in the land of Goshen, where the sons of Israel [are], there hath been no hail. 26 Solamente en la tierra de Gosén, donde los hijos de Israel estaban, no hubo granizo.
26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, there was no hail.
27 And Pharaoh sendeth, and calleth for Moses and for Aaron, and saith unto them, 'I have sinned this time, Jehovah [is] the Righteous, and I and my people [are] the Wicked, 27 Entonces Faraón envió á llamar á Moisés y á Aarón, y les dijo: He pecado esta vez: Jehová es justo, y yo y mi pueblo impíos.
27 Pharaoh sent and called for Moses and Aaron, and said to them, “I have sinned this time. Yahweh is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.
28 make ye supplication unto Jehovah, and plead that there be no voices of God and hail, and I send you away, and ye add not to remain.' 28 Orad á Jehová: y cesen los truenos de Dios y el granizo; y yo os dejaré ir, y no os detendréis más.
28 Pray to Yahweh; for there has been enough of mighty thunderings and hail. I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer.”
29 And Moses saith unto him, 'At my going out of the city, I spread my palms unto Jehovah — the voices cease, and the hail is not any more, so that thou knowest that the earth [is] Jehovah's; 29 Y respondióle Moisés: En saliendo yo de la ciudad extenderé mis manos á Jehová, [y] los truenos cesarán, y no habrá más granizo; para que sepas que de Jehová es la tierra.
29 Moses said to him, “As soon as I have gone out of the city, I will spread out my hands to Yahweh. The thunders shall cease, and there will not be any more hail; that you may know that the earth is Yahweh’s.
30 but thou and thy servants — I have known that ye are not yet afraid of the face of Jehovah God.' 30 Mas yo sé que ni tú ni tus siervos temeréis todavía la presencia del Dios Jehová.
30 But as for you and your servants, I know that you don’t yet fear Yahweh God.”
31 And the flax and the barley have been smitten, for the barley [is] budding, and the flax forming flowers, 31 El lino, pues, y la cebada fueron heridos; porque la cebada estaba ya espigada, y el lino en caña.
31 The flax and the barley were struck, for the barley had ripened and the flax was blooming.
32 and the wheat and the rye have not been smitten, for they are late. 32 Mas el trigo y el centeno no fueron heridos; porque eran tardíos.
32 But the wheat and the spelt were not struck, for they had not grown up.
33 And Moses goeth out from Pharaoh, [from] the city, and spreadeth his hands unto Jehovah, and the voices and the hail cease, and rain hath not been poured out to the earth; 33 Y salido Moisés de con Faraón de la ciudad, extendió sus manos á Jehová, y cesaron los truenos y el granizo; y la lluvia no cayó más sobre la tierra.
33 Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread out his hands to Yahweh; and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured on the earth.
34 and Pharaoh seeth that the rain hath ceased, and the hail and the voices, and he continueth to sin, and hardeneth his heart, he and his servants; 34 Y viendo Faraón que la lluvia había cesado y el granizo y los truenos, perseveró en pecar, y agravó su corazón, él y sus siervos.
34 When Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders had ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.
35 and the heart of Pharaoh is strong, and he hath not sent the sons of Israel away, as Jehovah hath spoken by the hand of Moses. 35 Y el corazón de Faraón se endureció, y no dejó ir á los hijos de Israel; como Jehová lo había dicho por medio de Moisés.
35 The heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he didn’t let the children of Israel go, just as Yahweh had spoken through Moses.
