2 And these [are] the names of the sons of Gershom; Libni, and Shimei.

8 Ahitub became the father of Zadok. Zadok became the father of Ahimaaz.
9 Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, Shaul his son.
9 Ahimaaz became the father of Azariah. Azariah became the father of Johanan.
10 And the sons of Elkanah; Amasai, and Ahimoth.
10 Johanan became the father of Azariah, who executed the priest’s office in the house that Solomon built in Jerusalem.
11 Elkanah his son, Zophai his son, Nahath his son;
11 Azariah became the father of Amariah. Amariah became the father of Ahitub.
12 Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son.
12 Ahitub became the father of Zadok. Zadok became the father of Shallum.
13 The sons of Samuel; the firstborn Sani, and Abijah.
13 Shallum became the father of Hilkiah. Hilkiah became the father of Azariah.
14 The sons of Merari; Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son;
14 Azariah became the father of Seraiah. Seraiah became the father of Jehozadak.
15 Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.
15 Jehozadak went into captivity when Yahweh carried Judah and Jerusalem away by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.
16 And these [were the men] whom David set over the service of the singers in the house of the Lord when the ark was at rest.
16 The sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.
17 And they ministered in front of the tabernacle of witness [playing] on instruments, until Solomon built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem; and they stood according to their order for their services.
17 These are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni and Shimei.
18 And these [were the men] that stood, and their sons, of the sons of Kohath: Heman the psalm singer, son of Joel, the son of Samuel,
18 The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
19 the son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,
19 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their fathers’ households.

30 the son of Hashabiah,
30 Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.
31 the son of Amaziah, the son of Bani, the son of Shemer,
31 These are they whom David set over the service of song in Yahweh’s house after the ark came to rest there.
32 the son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.
32 They ministered with song before the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting until Solomon had built Yahweh’s house in Jerusalem. They performed the duties of their office according to their order.
33 And their brethren according to the houses of their fathers, [were] the Levites who were appointed to all the work of ministration of the tabernacle of the house of God.
33 These are those who served, and their sons. Of the sons of the Kohathites: Heman the singer, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel,
34 And Aaron and his sons [were] to burn incense on the altar of whole burnt offerings, and on the altar of incense, for all the ministry [in] the holy of holies, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all things that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded.
34 the son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,
35 And these [are] the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,
35 the son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,
36 Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,
36 the son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,

39 And these [are] their residences in their villages, in their coasts, to the sons of Aaron, to their family the Kohathites: for they had the lot.
39 His brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand, even Asaph the son of Berechiah, the son of Shimea,
40 And they gave them Hebron in the land of Judah, and its suburbs round about it.
40 the son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchijah,
41 But the fields of the city, and its villages, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
41 the son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah,
42 And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of refuge, [even] Hebron, and Libnah and her suburbs round about, and Hilen and her suburbs, and Eshtemoa and her suburbs,
42 the son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shimei,
43 and Jattir and her suburbs, and Debir and her suburbs,
43 the son of Jahath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.
44 and Ashan and her suburbs, and Beth-shemesh and her suburbs:
44 On the left hand their brothers the sons of Merari: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,
45 and of the tribe of Benjamin Gibeon and her suburbs, and Alemeth and her suburbs, and Anathoth and her suburbs: all their cities [were] thirteen cities according to their families.
45 the son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,
46 And to the sons of Kohath that were left of their families, [there were given] out of the tribe, [namely], out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, by lot, ten cities.
46 the son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shemer,
47 And to the sons of Gershom according to their families [there were given] thirteen cities of the tribe of Issachar, of the tribe of Asher, of the tribe of Naphtali, of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.
47 the son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.
48 And to the sons of Merari according to their families [there were given], by lot, twelve cities of the tribe of Reuben, of the tribe of Gad, [and] of the tribe of Zebulun.
48 Their brothers the Levites were appointed for all the service of the tabernacle of God’s house.
49 So the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities and their suburbs.
49 But Aaron and his sons offered on the altar of burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, for all the work of the most holy place, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.
50 And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities which they call by name.
50 These are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,
51 And [to the members] of the families of the sons of Kohath there were also given the cities of their borders out of the tribe of Ephraim.
51 Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,
52 And they gave them the cities of refuge, Shechem and her suburbs in Mount Ephraim, and Gezer and her suburbs,
52 Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,
53 and Jokmeam and her suburbs, and Beth-horon and her suburbs,
53 Zadok his son, and Ahimaaz his son.
54 and Aijalon and her suburbs, and Gath-rimmon and her suburbs:
54 Now these are their dwelling places according to their encampments in their borders: to the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites (for theirs was the first lot),
55 and of the half-tribe of Manasseh Aner and her suburbs, and Bileam and her suburbs, to the sons of Kohath that were left, according to [each several] family.
55 to them they gave Hebron in the land of Judah, and its pasture lands around it;
56 To the sons of Gershom from the families of the half-tribe of Manasseh [they gave] Golan of Bashan and her suburbs, and Ashtaroth and her suburbs.
56 but the fields of the city and its villages, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
57 And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedesh and her suburbs, and Daberath and her suburbs, and Dabor and her suburbs,
57 To the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of refuge, Hebron, Libnah also with its pasture lands, Jattir, Eshtemoa with its pasture lands,
58 and Ramoth, and Anem and her suburbs.
58 Hilen with its pasture lands, Debir with its pasture lands,
59 And of the tribe of Asher; Mashal and her suburbs, and Abdon and her suburbs,
59 Ashan with its pasture lands, and Beth Shemesh with its pasture lands;
60 and Hukok and her suburbs, and Rehob and her suburbs.
60 and out of the tribe of Benjamin, Geba with its pasture lands, Allemeth with its pasture lands, and Anathoth with its pasture lands. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.
61 And of the tribe of Naphtali; Kedesh in Galilee and her suburbs, and Hammon and her suburbs, and Kiriathaim and her suburbs.
61 To the rest of the sons of Kohath were given by lot, out of the family of the tribe, out of the half-tribe, the half of Manasseh, ten cities.
62 To the sons of Merari that were left, [they gave] out of the tribe of Zebulun Rimmono and her suburbs, and Tabor and her suburbs:
62 To the sons of Gershom, according to their families, out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
63 out of [the country] beyond Jordan; Jericho westward of Jordan: out of the tribe of Reuben; Bezer in the wilderness and her suburbs, and Jahzah and her suburbs,
63 To the sons of Merari were given by lot, according to their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
64 and Kedemoth and her suburbs, and Mephaath and her suburbs.
64 The children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities with their pasture lands.
65 Out of the tribe of Gad; Ramoth-gilead and her suburbs, and Mahanaim and her suburbs,
65 They gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities which are mentioned by name.
66 and Heshbon and her suburbs, and Jazer and her suburbs.
