2 And these [are] the names of the sons of Gedson; Lobeni, and Semei.

3 The sons of Caath; Ambram, and Issaar, Chebron, and Oziel.

4 The sons of Merari; Mooli and Musi: and these [are] the families of Levi, according to their families.
4 Eleazar became the father of Phinehas, Phinehas became the father of Abishua,
5 To Gedson—to Lobeni his son—[were born] Jeth his son, Zammath his son,
5 Abishua became the father of Bukki. Bukki became the father of Uzzi.
6 Joab his son, Addi his son, Zara his son, Jethri his son.
6 Uzzi became the father of Zerahiah. Zerahiah became the father of Meraioth.
7 The sons of Caath; Aminadab his son, Core his son, Aser his son;
7 Meraioth became the father of Amariah. Amariah became the father of Ahitub.
8 Helcana his son, Abisaph his son, Aser his son:
8 Ahitub became the father of Zadok. Zadok became the father of Ahimaaz.
9 Thaath his son, Uriel his son, Ozia his son, Saul his son.
9 Ahimaaz became the father of Azariah. Azariah became the father of Johanan.
10 And the sons of Helcana; Amessi, and Achimoth.
10 Johanan became the father of Azariah, who executed the priest’s office in the house that Solomon built in Jerusalem.
11 Helcana his son, Suphi his son, Cainaath his son;
11 Azariah became the father of Amariah. Amariah became the father of Ahitub.
12 Eliab his son, Jeroboam his son, Helcana his son.
12 Ahitub became the father of Zadok. Zadok became the father of Shallum.
13 The sons of Samuel; the first-born Sani, and Abia.
13 Shallum became the father of Hilkiah. Hilkiah became the father of Azariah.
14 The sons of Merari; Mooli, Lobeni his son, Semei his son, Oza his son;
14 Azariah became the father of Seraiah. Seraiah became the father of Jehozadak.
15 Samaa his son, Angia his son, Asaias his son.
15 Jehozadak went into captivity when Yahweh carried Judah and Jerusalem away by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.
16 And these [were the men] whom David set over the service of the singers in the house of the Lord when the ark was at rest.
16 The sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.
17 And they ministered in front of the tabernacle of witness [playing] on instruments, until Solomon built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem; and they stood according to their order for their services.
17 These are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni and Shimei.
18 And these [were the men] that stood, and their sons, of the sons of Caath: Æman the psalm singer, son of Joel, the son of Samuel,
18 The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
19 the son of Helcana, the son of Jeroboam, the son of Eliel, the son of Thoas,
19 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their fathers’ households.
20 the son of Suph, the son of Helcana, the son of Maath, the son of Amathi,
20 Of Gershom: Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,
21 the son of Helcana, the son of Joel, the son of Azarias, the son of Japhanias,
21 Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, and Jeatherai his son.
22 the son of Thaath, the son of Aser, the son of Abiasaph, the son of Core,
22 The sons of Kohath: Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,
23 the son of Isaar, the son of Caath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.
23 Elkanah his son, Ebiasaph his son, Assir his son,
24 And his brother Asaph, who stood at his right hand; Asaph the son of Barachias, the son of Samaa,

25 the son of Michael, the son of Baasia, the son of Melchia,
25 The sons of Elkanah: Amasai and Ahimoth.
26 the son of Athani, the son of Zaarai,
26 As for Elkanah, the sons of Elkanah: Zophai his son, Nahath his son,
27 the son of Adai, the son of Ætham, the son of Zammam, the son of Semei,
27 Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, and Elkanah his son.
28 the son of Jeeth, the son of Gedson, the son of Levi.
28 The sons of Samuel: the firstborn, Joel, and the second, Abijah.
29 And the sons of Merari their brethren on the left hand: Ætham the son of Kisa, the son of Abai, the son of Maloch,
29 The sons of Merari: Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son,
30 the son of Asebi,
30 Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.
31 the son of Amessias, the son of Bani, the son of Semer,
31 These are they whom David set over the service of song in Yahweh’s house after the ark came to rest there.
32 the son of Mooli, the son of Musi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.
32 They ministered with song before the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting until Solomon had built Yahweh’s house in Jerusalem. They performed the duties of their office according to their order.
33 And their brethren according to the houses of their fathers, [were] the Levites who were appointed to all the work of ministration of the tabernacle of the house of God.
33 These are those who served, and their sons. Of the sons of the Kohathites: Heman the singer, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel,
34 And Aaron and his sons [were] to burn incense on the altar of whole-burnt-offerings, and on the altar of incense, for all the ministry [in] the holy of holies, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all things that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded.

35 And these [are] the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinees his son, Abisu his son,
35 the son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,

36 the son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,
37 Mariel his son, Amaria his son, Achitob his son,
37 the son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah,
38 Sadoc his son, Achimaas his son.
38 the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.
39 And these [are] their residences in their villages, in their coasts, to the sons of Aaron, to their family the Caathites: for they had the lot.
39 His brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand, even Asaph the son of Berechiah, the son of Shimea,
40 And they gave them Chebron in the land of Juda, and its suburbs round about it.
40 the son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchijah,
41 But the fields of the city, and its villages, they gave to Chaleb the son of Jephonne.
41 the son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah,
42 And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of refuge, [even] Chebron, and Lobna and her suburbs round about, and Selna and her suburbs, and Esthamo and her suburbs,
42 the son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shimei,
43 and Jethar and her suburbs, and Dabir and her suburbs,
43 the son of Jahath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.
44 and Asan and her suburbs, and Bæthsamys and her suburbs:
44 On the left hand their brothers the sons of Merari: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,
45 and of the tribe of Benjamin Gabai and her suburbs, and Galemath and her suburbs, and Anathoth and her suburbs: all their cities [were] thirteen cities according to their families.
45 the son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,
46 And to the sons of Caath that were left of their families, [there were given] out of the tribe, [namely], out of the half-tribe of Manasse, by lot, ten cities.
46 the son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shemer,
47 And to the sons of Gedson according to their families [there were given] thirteen cities of the tribe of Issachar, of the tribe of Aser, of the tribe of Nephthali, of the tribe of Manasse in Basan.
47 the son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.
48 And to the sons of Merari according to their families [there were given], by lot, twelve cities of the tribe of Ruben, of the tribe of Gad, [and] of the tribe of Zabulon.
48 Their brothers the Levites were appointed for all the service of the tabernacle of God’s house.
49 So the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities and their suburbs.
49 But Aaron and his sons offered on the altar of burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, for all the work of the most holy place, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.
50 And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Juda, and out of the tribe of the children of Symeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities which they call by name.
50 These are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,
51 And [to the members] of the families of the sons of Caath there were also given the cities of their borders out of the tribe of Ephraim.
51 Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,
52 And they gave them the cities of refuge, Sychem and her suburbs in mount Ephraim, and Gazer and her suburbs,
52 Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,
53 and Jecmaan and her suburbs, and Bæthoron and her suburbs,
53 Zadok his son, and Ahimaaz his son.
54 and Ælon and her suburbs, and Gethremmon and her suburbs:
54 Now these are their dwelling places according to their encampments in their borders: to the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites (for theirs was the first lot),
55 and of the half-tribe of Manasse Anar and her suburbs, and Jemblaan and her suburbs, to the sons of Caath that were left, according to [each several] family.
55 to them they gave Hebron in the land of Judah, and its pasture lands around it;
56 To the sons of Gedson from the families of the half-tribe of Manasse [they gave] Golan of Basan and her suburbs, and Aseroth and her suburbs.
56 but the fields of the city and its villages, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
57 And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedes and her suburbs, and Deberi and her suburbs, and Dabor and her suburbs,
57 To the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of refuge, Hebron, Libnah also with its pasture lands, Jattir, Eshtemoa with its pasture lands,
58 and Ramoth, and Ænan and her suburbs.
58 Hilen with its pasture lands, Debir with its pasture lands,
59 And of the tribe of Aser; Maasal and her suburbs, and Abdon and her suburbs,
59 Ashan with its pasture lands, and Beth Shemesh with its pasture lands;
60 and Acac and her suburbs, and Roob and her suburbs.
60 and out of the tribe of Benjamin, Geba with its pasture lands, Allemeth with its pasture lands, and Anathoth with its pasture lands. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.
61 And of the tribe of Nephthali; Kedes in Galilee and her suburbs, and Chamoth and her suburbs, and Kariathaim and her suburbs.
61 To the rest of the sons of Kohath were given by lot, out of the family of the tribe, out of the half-tribe, the half of Manasseh, ten cities.
62 To the sons of Merari that were left, [they gave] out of the tribe of Zabulon Remmon and her suburbs, and Thabor and her suburbs:
62 To the sons of Gershom, according to their families, out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
63 out of [the country] beyond Jordan; Jericho westward of Jordan: out of the tribe of Ruben; Bosor in the wilderness and her suburbs, and Jasa and her suburbs,
63 To the sons of Merari were given by lot, according to their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
64 and Kadmoth and her suburbs, and Maephla and her suburbs.
64 The children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities with their pasture lands.
65 Out of the tribe of Gad; Rammoth Galaad and her suburbs, and Maanaim and her suburbs,
65 They gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities which are mentioned by name.
66 and Esebon and her suburbs, and Jazer and her suburbs.
66 Some of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their borders out of the tribe of Ephraim. 67 They gave to them the cities of refuge, Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim with its pasture lands and Gezer with its pasture lands, 68 Jokmeam with its pasture lands, Beth Horon with its pasture lands, 69 Aijalon with its pasture lands, Gath Rimmon with its pasture lands; 70 and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Aner with its pasture lands, and Bileam with its pasture lands, for the rest of the family of the sons of Kohath. 71 To the sons of Gershom were given, out of the family of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with its pasture lands, and Ashtaroth with its pasture lands; 72 and out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedesh with its pasture lands, Daberath with its pasture lands, 73 Ramoth with its pasture lands, and Anem with its pasture lands; 74 and out of the tribe of Asher, Mashal with its pasture lands, Abdon with its pasture lands, 75 Hukok with its pasture lands, and Rehob with its pasture lands; 76 and out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its pasture lands, Hammon with its pasture lands, and Kiriathaim with its pasture lands. 77 To the rest of the Levites, the sons of Merari, were given, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmono with its pasture lands, and Tabor with its pasture lands; 78 and beyond the Jordan at Jericho, on the east side of the Jordan, were given them out of the tribe of Reuben: Bezer in the wilderness with its pasture lands, Jahzah with its pasture lands, 79 Kedemoth with its pasture lands, and Mephaath with its pasture lands; 80 and out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its pasture lands, Mahanaim with its pasture lands, 81 Heshbon with its pasture lands, and Jazer with its pasture lands.
