1 Now there were some present at the same time who told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.
2 Jesus answered them, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered such things?
3 ουχι λεγω υμιν αλλ εαν μη μετανοητε παντεσ ωσαυτωσ απολεισθε 3 No, os digo; antes si no os arrepintiereis, todos pereceréis igualmente.
3 I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.
4 Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them—do you think that they were worse offenders than all the men who dwell in Jerusalem?
5 ουχι λεγω υμιν αλλ εαν μη μετανοητε παντεσ ομοιωσ απολεισθε 5 No, os digo; antes si no os arrepintiereis, todos pereceréis asimismo.
5 I tell you, no, but, unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.”
6 ελεγεν δε ταυτην την παραβολην συκην ειχεν τισ εν τω αμπελωνι αυτου πεφυτευμενην και ηλθεν ζητων καρπον εν αυτη και ουχ ευρεν 6 Y dijo esta parábola: Tenía uno una higuera plantada en su viña, y vino á buscar fruto en ella, y no lo halló.
6 He spoke this parable. “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none.
7 ειπεν δε προσ τον αμπελουργον ιδου τρια ετη ερχομαι ζητων καρπον εν τη συκη ταυτη και ουχ ευρισκω εκκοψον αυτην ινα τι και την γην καταργει 7 Y dijo al viñero: He aquí tres años ha que vengo á buscar fruto en esta higuera, y no lo hallo; córtala, ¿por qué ocupará aún la tierra?
7 He said to the vine dresser, ‘Behold, these three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree, and found none. Cut it down! Why does it waste the soil?’
8 He answered, ‘Lord, leave it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it.
9 καν μεν ποιηση καρπον ει δε μηγε εισ το μελλον εκκοψεισ αυτην 9 Y si hiciere fruto, [bien]; y si no, la cortarás después.
9 If it bears fruit, fine; but if not, after that, you can cut it down.’”
10 ην δε διδασκων εν μια των συναγωγων εν τοισ σαββασιν 10 Y enseñaba en una sinagoga en sábado.
10 He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath day.
11 και ιδου γυνη ην πνευμα εχουσα ασθενειασ ετη δεκα και οκτω και ην συγκυπτουσα και μη δυναμενη ανακυψαι εισ το παντελεσ 11 Y he aquí una mujer que tenía espíritu de enfermedad dieciocho años, y andaba agobiada, que en ninguna manera se podía enhestar.
11 Behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years. She was bent over and could in no way straighten herself up.
12 When Jesus saw her, he called her and said to her, “Woman, you are freed from your infirmity.”
13 He laid his hands on her, and immediately she stood up straight and glorified God.
14 αποκριθεισ δε ο αρχισυναγωγοσ αγανακτων οτι τω σαββατω εθεραπευσεν ο ιησουσ ελεγεν τω οχλω εξ ημεραι εισιν εν αισ δει εργαζεσθαι εν ταυταισ ουν ερχομενοι θεραπευεσθε και μη τη ημερα του σαββατου 14 Y respondiendo el príncipe de la sinagoga, enojado de que Jesús hubiese curado en sábado, dijo á la compañía: Seis días hay en que es necesario obrar: en estos, pues, venid y sed curados, y no en día de sábado.
14 The ruler of the synagogue, being indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the multitude, “There are six days in which men ought to work. Therefore come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day!”
15 απεκριθη ουν αυτω ο κυριοσ και ειπεν υποκριται εκαστοσ υμων τω σαββατω ου λυει τον βουν αυτου η τον ονον απο τησ φατνησ και απαγαγων ποτιζει 15 Entonces el Señor le respondió, y dijo: Hipócrita, cada uno de vosotros ¿no desata en sábado su buey ó su asno del pesebre, y lo lleva á beber?
15 Therefore the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Doesn’t each one of you free his ox or his donkey from the stall on the Sabbath and lead him away to water?
16 ταυτην δε θυγατερα αβρααμ ουσαν ην εδησεν ο σατανασ ιδου δεκα και οκτω ετη ουκ εδει λυθηναι απο του δεσμου τουτου τη ημερα του σαββατου 16 Y á esta hija de Abraham, que he aquí Satanás la había ligado dieciocho años, ¿no convino desatar[la] de esta ligadura en día de sábado?
16 Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham whom Satan had bound eighteen long years, be freed from this bondage on the Sabbath day?”
17 As he said these things, all his adversaries were disappointed; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
18 ελεγεν δε τινι ομοια εστιν η βασιλεια του θεου και τινι ομοιωσω αυτην 18 Y dijo: ¿A qué es semejante el reino de Dios, y á qué le compararé?
18 He said, “What is God’s Kingdom like? To what shall I compare it?
19 It is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and put in his own garden. It grew and became a large tree, and the birds of the sky live in its branches.”
20 παλιν ειπεν τινι ομοιωσω την βασιλειαν του θεου 20 Y otra vez dijo: ¿A qué compararé el reino de Dios?
20 Again he said, “To what shall I compare God’s Kingdom?
21 It is like yeast, which a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, until it was all leavened.”
22 He went on his way through cities and villages, teaching, and traveling on to Jerusalem.
Y él les dijo:
23 One said to him, “Lord, are they few who are saved?” He said to them,
24 αγωνιζεσθε εισελθειν δια τησ στενησ πυλησ οτι πολλοι λεγω υμιν ζητησουσιν εισελθειν και ουκ ισχυσουσιν 24 Porfiad á entrar por la puerta angosta; porque os digo que muchos procurarán entrar, y no podrán.
24 “Strive to enter in by the narrow door, for many, I tell you, will seek to enter in and will not be able.
25 αφ ου αν εγερθη ο οικοδεσποτησ και αποκλειση την θυραν και αρξησθε εξω εσταναι και κρουειν την θυραν λεγοντεσ κυριε κυριε ανοιξον ημιν και αποκριθεισ ερει υμιν ουκ οιδα υμασ ποθεν εστε 25 Después que el padre de familia se levantare, y cerrare la puerta, y comenzareis á estar fuera, y llamar á la puerta, diciendo: Señor, Señor, ábrenos; y respondiendo os dirá: No os conozco de dónde seáis.
25 When once the master of the house has risen up and has shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ then he will answer and tell you, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’
26 τοτε αρξεσθε λεγειν εφαγομεν ενωπιον σου και επιομεν και εν ταισ πλατειαισ ημων εδιδαξασ 26 Entonces comenzaréis á decir: Delante de ti hemos comido y bebido, y en nuestras plazas enseñaste;
26 Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’
27 και ερει λεγω υμιν ουκ οιδα υμασ ποθεν εστε αποστητε απ εμου παντεσ οι εργαται τησ αδικιασ 27 Y [os] dirá: Dígoos que no os conozco de dónde seáis; apartaos de mí todos los obreros de iniquidad.
27 He will say, ‘I tell you, I don’t know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity.’
28 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in God’s Kingdom, and yourselves being thrown outside.
29 They will come from the east, west, north, and south, and will sit down in God’s Kingdom.
30 και ιδου εισιν εσχατοι οι εσονται πρωτοι και εισιν πρωτοι οι εσονται εσχατοι 30 Y he aquí, son postreros los que eran los primeros; y son primeros los que eran los postreros.
30 Behold, there are some who are last who will be first, and there are some who are first who will be last.”
31 On that same day, some Pharisees came, saying to him, “Get out of here and go away, for Herod wants to kill you.”
32 και ειπεν αυτοισ πορευθεντεσ ειπατε τη αλωπεκι ταυτη ιδου εκβαλλω δαιμονια και ιασεισ επιτελω σημερον και αυριον και τη τριτη τελειουμαι 32 Y les dijo: Id, y decid á aquella zorra: He aquí, echo fuera demonios y acabo sanidades hoy y mañana, y al tercer día soy consumado.
32 He said to them, “Go and tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I complete my mission.
33 πλην δει με σημερον και αυριον και τη εχομενη πορευεσθαι οτι ουκ ενδεχεται προφητην απολεσθαι εξω ιερουσαλημ 33 Empero es menester que hoy, y mañana, y pasado mañana camine; porque no es posible que profeta muera fuera de Jerusalem.
33 Nevertheless I must go on my way today and tomorrow and the next day, for it can’t be that a prophet would perish outside of Jerusalem.’
34 ιερουσαλημ ιερουσαλημ η αποκτενουσα τουσ προφητασ και λιθοβολουσα τουσ απεσταλμενουσ προσ αυτην ποσακισ ηθελησα επισυναξαι τα τεκνα σου ον τροπον ορνισ την εαυτησ νοσσιαν υπο τασ πτερυγασ και ουκ ηθελησατε 34 ¡Jerusalem, Jerusalem! que matas á los profetas, y apedreas á los que son enviados á ti: ¡cuántas veces quise juntar tus hijos, como la gallina sus pollos debajo de sus alas, y no quisiste!
34 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, like a hen gathers her own brood under her wings, and you refused!
35 ιδου αφιεται υμιν ο οικοσ υμων ερημοσ λεγω δε υμιν οτι ου μη με ιδητε εωσ αν ηξει οτε ειπητε ευλογημενοσ ο ερχομενοσ εν ονοματι κυριου 35 He aquí, os es dejada vuestra casa desierta: y os digo que no me veréis, hasta que venga [tiempo] cuando digáis: Bendito el que viene en nombre del Señor.
35 Behold, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’”
