1 PALABRA que fué de Jehová á Jeremías, diciendo:
1 The word that came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, saying,
2 стань во вратах дома Господня и провозгласи там слово сие и скажи: слушайте слово Господне, все Иудеи, входящие сими вратами на поклонение Господу.
2 Ponte á la puerta de la casa de Jehová, y predica allí esta palabra, y di: Oid palabra de Jehová, todo Judá, los que entráis por estas puertas para adorar á Jehová.
2 “Stand in the gate of Yahweh’s house, and proclaim this word there, and say, ‘Hear Yahweh’s word, all you of Judah, who enter in at these gates to worship Yahweh.’”
3 Так говорит Господь Саваоф, Бог Израилев: исправьте пути ваши и деяния ваши, и Я оставлю вас жить на сем месте.
3 Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Mejorad vuestros caminos y vuestras obras, y os haré morar en este lugar.
3 Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel says, “Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.
4 Не надейтесь на обманчивые слова: "здесь храм Господень, храм Господень, храм Господень".
4 No fiéis en palabras de mentira, diciendo: Templo de Jehová, templo de Jehová, templo de Jehová es éste.
4 Don’t trust in lying words, saying, ‘Yahweh’s temple, Yahweh’s temple, Yahweh’s temple, are these.’
5 Но если совсем исправите пути ваши и деяния ваши, если будете верно производить суд между человеком и соперником его,
5 Mas si mejorareis cumplidamente vuestros caminos y vuestras obras; si con exactitud hiciereis derecho entre el hombre y su prójimo,
5 For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute justice between a man and his neighbor;
6 не будете притеснять иноземца, сироты и вдовы, и проливать невинной крови на месте сем, и не пойдете во след иных богов на беду себе, -
6 Ni oprimiereis al peregrino, al huérfano, y á la viuda, ni en este lugar derramareis la sangre inocente, ni anduviereis en pos de dioses ajenos para mal vuestro;
6 if you don’t oppress the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow, and don’t shed innocent blood in this place, and don’t walk after other gods to your own hurt,
7 то Я оставлю вас жить на месте сем, на этой земле, которую дал отцам вашим в роды родов.
7 Os haré morar en este lugar, en la tierra que dí á vuestros padres para siempre.
7 then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, from of old even forever more.
8 Вот, вы надеетесь на обманчивые слова, которые не принесут вам пользы.
8 He aquí vosotros os confiáis en palabras de mentira, que no aprovechan.
8 Behold, you trust in lying words that can’t profit.
9 Как! вы крадете, убиваете и прелюбодействуете, и клянетесь во лжи и кадите Ваалу, и ходите во след иных богов, которых вы не знаете,
9 ¿Hurtando, matando, y adulterando, y jurando falso, é incensando á Baal, y andando tras dioses extraños que no conocisteis,
9 Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods that you have not known,
10 и потом приходите и становитесь пред лицем Моим в доме сем, над которым наречено имя Мое, и говорите: "мы спасены", чтобы впредь делать все эти мерзости.
10 Vendréis y os pondréis delante de mí en esta casa sobre la cual es invocado mi nombre, y diréis: Librados somos: para hacer todas estas abominaciones?
10 then come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, ‘We are delivered,’ that you may do all these abominations?
11 Не соделался ли вертепом разбойников в глазах ваших дом сей, над которым наречено имя Мое? Вот, Я видел это, говорит Господь.
11 ¿Es cueva de ladrones delante de vuestros ojos esta casa, sobre la cual es invocado mi nombre? He aquí que también yo veo, dice Jehová.
11 Has this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, I myself have seen it,” says Yahweh.
12 Пойдите же на место Мое в Силом, где Я прежде назначил пребывать имени Моему, и посмотрите, что сделал Я с ним за нечестие народа Моего Израиля.
12 Andad empero ahora á mi lugar que fué en Silo, donde hice que morase mi nombre al principio, y ved lo que le hice por la maldad de mi pueblo Israel.
12 “But go now to my place which was in Shiloh, where I caused my name to dwell at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.
13 И ныне, так как вы делаете все эти дела, говорит Господь, и Я говорил вам с раннего утра, а вы не слушали, и звал вас, а вы не отвечали, -
13 Ahora pues, por cuanto habéis vosotros hecho todas estas obras, dice Jehová, y bien que os hablé, madrugando para hablar, no oísteis, y os llamé, y no respondisteis;
13 Now, because you have done all these works,” says Yahweh, “and I spoke to you, rising up early and speaking, but you didn’t hear; and I called you, but you didn’t answer;
14 то Я так же поступлю с домом сим, над которым наречено имя Мое, на который вы надеетесь, и с местом, которое Я дал вам и отцам вашим, как поступил с Силомом.
14 Haré también á esta casa sobre la cual es invocado mi nombre, en la que vosotros confiáis, y á este lugar que dí á vosotros y á vuestros padres, como hice á Silo:
14 therefore I will do to the house which is called by my name, in which you trust, and to the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Shiloh.
15 И отвергну вас от лица Моего, как отверг всех братьев ваших, все семя Ефремово.
15 Que os echaré de mi presencia como eché á todos vuestros hermanos, á toda la generación de Ephraim.
15 I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brothers, even the whole offspring of Ephraim.
16 Ты же не проси за этот народ и не возноси за них молитвы и прошения, и не ходатайствуй предо Мною, ибо Я не услышу тебя.
16 Tú pues, no ores por este pueblo, ni levantes por ellos clamor ni oración, ni me ruegues; porque no te oiré.
16 “Therefore don’t pray for this people. Don’t lift up a cry or prayer for them or make intercession to me; for I will not hear you.
17 Не видишь ли, что они делают в городах Иудеи и на улицах Иерусалима?
17 ¿No ves lo que estos hacen en las ciudades de Judá y en las calles de Jerusalem?
17 Don’t you see what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
18 Дети собирают дрова, а отцы разводят огонь, и женщины месят тесто, чтобы делать пирожки для богини неба и совершать возлияния иным богам, чтобы огорчать Меня.
18 Los hijos cogen la leña, y los padres encienden el fuego, y las mujeres amasan la masa, para hacer tortas á la reina del cielo y para hacer ofrendas á dioses ajenos, por provocarme á ira.
18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead the dough, to make cakes to the queen of the sky, and to pour out drink offerings to other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.
19 Но Меня ли огорчают они? говорит Господь; не себя ли самих к стыду своему?
19 ¿Provocaránme ellos á ira, dice Jehová, y no más bien [obran] ellos mismos para confusión de sus rostros?
19 Do they provoke me to anger?” says Yahweh. “Don’t they provoke themselves, to the confusion of their own faces?”
20 Посему так говорит Господь Бог: вот, изливается гнев Мой и ярость Моя на место сие, на людей и на скот, и на дерева полевые и на плоды земли, и возгорится и не погаснет.
20 Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí que mi furor y mi ira se derrama sobre este lugar, sobre los hombres, sobre los animales, y sobre los árboles del campo, y sobre los frutos de la tierra; y encenderáse, y no se apagará.
20 Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, my anger and my wrath will be poured out on this place, on man, on animal, on the trees of the field, and on the fruit of the ground; and it will burn and will not be quenched.”
21 Так говорит Господь Саваоф, Бог Израилев: всесожжения ваши прилагайте к жертвам вашим и ешьте мясо;
21 Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Añadid vuestros holocaustos sobre vuestros sacrificios, y comed carne.
21 Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel says: “Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices and eat meat.
22 ибо отцам вашим Я не говорил и не давал им заповеди в тот день, в который Я вывел их из земли Египетской, о всесожжении и жертве;
22 Porque no hablé yo con vuestros padres, ni les mandé el día que los saqué de la tierra de Egipto, acerca de holocaustos y de víctimas:
22 For I didn’t speak to your fathers or command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices;
23 но такую заповедь дал им: "слушайтесь гласа Моего, и Я буду вашим Богом, а вы будете Моим народом, и ходите по всякому пути, который Я заповедаю вам, чтобы вам было хорошо".
23 Mas esto les mandé, diciendo: Escuchad mi voz, y seré á vosotros por Dios, y vosotros me seréis por pueblo; y andad en todo camino que os mandare, para que os vaya bien.
23 but this thing I commanded them, saying, ‘Listen to my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people. Walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.’
24 Но они не послушали и не приклонили уха своего, и жили по внушению и упорству злого сердца своего, и стали ко Мне спиною, а не лицом.
24 Y no oyeron ni inclinaron su oído; antes caminaron en [sus] consejos, en la dureza de su corazón malvado, y fueron hacia atrás y no hacia adelante,
24 But they didn’t listen or turn their ear, but walked in their own counsels and in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.
25 С того дня, как отцы ваши вышли из земли Египетской, до сего дня Я посылал к вам всех рабов Моих - пророков, посылал всякий день с раннего утра;
25 Desde el día que vuestros padres salieron de la tierra de Egipto hasta hoy. Y os envié á todos los profetas mis siervos, cada día madrugando y enviándolos:
25 Since the day that your fathers came out of the land of Egypt to this day, I have sent to you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them.
26 но они не слушались Меня и не приклонили уха своего, а ожесточили выю свою, поступали хуже отцов своих.
26 Mas no me oyeron ni inclinaron su oído; antes endurecieron su cerviz, é hicieron peor que sus padres.
26 Yet they didn’t listen to me or incline their ear, but made their neck stiff. They did worse than their fathers.
27 И когда ты будешь говорить им все эти слова, они тебя не послушают; и когда будешь звать их, они тебе не ответят.
27 Tú pues les dirás todas estas palabras, mas no te oirán; aun los llamarás, y no te responderán.
27 “You shall speak all these words to them, but they will not listen to you. You shall also call to them, but they will not answer you.
28 Тогда скажи им: вот народ, который не слушает гласа Господа Бога своего и не принимает наставления! Не стало у них истины, она отнята от уст их.
28 Les dirás por tanto: Esta es la gente que no escuchó la voz de Jehová su Dios, ni tomó corrección; perdióse la fe, y de la boca de ellos fué cortada.
28 You shall tell them, ‘This is the nation that has not listened to Yahweh their God’s voice, nor received instruction. Truth has perished, and is cut off from their mouth.’
29 Остриги волоса твои и брось, и подними плач на горах, ибо отверг Господь и оставил род, навлекший гнев Его.
29 Trasquila tu cabello, y arrójalo, y levanta llanto sobre las alturas; porque Jehová ha aborrecido y dejado la nación de su ira.
29 Cut off your hair, and throw it away, and take up a lamentation on the bare heights; for Yahweh has rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.
30 Ибо сыновья Иуды делают злое пред очами Моими, говорит Господь; поставили мерзости свои в доме, над которым наречено имя Мое, чтобы осквернить его;
30 Porque los hijos de Judá han hecho lo malo ante mis ojos, dice Jehová; pusieron sus abominaciones en la casa sobre la cual mi nombre fué invocado, amancillándola.
30 “For the children of Judah have done that which is evil in my sight,” says Yahweh. “They have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile it.
31 и устроили высоты Тофета в долине сыновей Енномовых, чтобы сожигать сыновей своих и дочерей своих в огне, чего Я не повелевал и что Мне на сердце не приходило.
31 Y han edificado los altos de Topheth, que es en el valle del hijo de Hinnom, para quemar al fuego sus hijos y sus hijas, cosa que yo no les mandé, ni subió en mi corazón.
31 They have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I didn’t command, nor did it come into my mind.
32 За то вот, приходят дни, говорит Господь, когда не будут более называть место сие Тофетом и долиною сыновей Енномовых, но долиною убийства, и в Тофете будут хоронить по недостатку места.
32 Por tanto, he aquí vendrán días, ha dicho Jehová, que no se diga más, Topheth, ni valle del hijo de Hinnom, sino Valle de la Matanza; y serán enterrados en Topheth, por no haber lugar.
32 Therefore behold, the days come”, says Yahweh, “that it will no more be called ‘Topheth’ or ‘The valley of the son of Hinnom’, but ‘The valley of Slaughter’; for they will bury in Topheth until there is no place to bury.
33 И будут трупы народа сего пищею птицам небесным и зверям земным, и некому будет отгонять их.
33 Y serán los cuerpos muertos de este pueblo para comida de las aves del cielo y de las bestias de la tierra; y no habrá quien las espante.
33 The dead bodies of this people will be food for the birds of the sky, and for the animals of the earth. No one will frighten them away.
34 И прекращу в городах Иудеи и на улицах Иерусалима голос торжества и голос веселия, голос жениха и голос невесты; потому что земля эта будет пустынею.
34 Y haré cesar de las ciudades de Judá, y de la calles de Jerusalem, voz de gozo y voz de alegría, voz de esposo y voz de esposa; porque la tierra será en desolación.
34 Then I will cause to cease from the cities of Judah and from the streets of Jerusalem the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride; for the land will become a waste.”

“Commentary” is the opening of a homily or exposition on this chapter (John Chrysostom’s homilies, Augustine’s tractates, sermons and expositions of the Psalms). “Quotes” are sentences where the edition’s own footnotes identify a quotation of a verse here, kept only when the wording matches the verse. Only works whose authorship is not in doubt are used. Psalms follow the Hebrew/English numbering (Augustine numbers them as the Septuagint does: his Psalm 50 is Psalm 51 here).
