Tyndale Tyndale New Testament (1534) WEB World English Bible (Classic, with Deuterocanon) 1 That fyrst tabernacle verely had ordinaunces and servynges of god and wordly holynes.
1 Now indeed even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service and an earthly sanctuary.
2 For there was a fore tabernacle made wherin was the candlesticke and the table and the shewe breed which is called wholy.
2 For a tabernacle was prepared. In the first part were the lamp stand, the table, and the show bread, which is called the Holy Place.
3 But with in the seconde vayle was ther a tabernacle which is called holiest of all 3 Tras el segundo velo [estaba] el tabernáculo, que llaman el Lugar Santísimo;
3 After the second veil was the tabernacle which is called the Holy of Holies,
4 which had the golden senser and the arcke of the testament overlayde round about with golde wherin was the golden pot with manna and Aarons rodde that spronge and the tables of the testament. 4 El cual tenía un incensario de oro, y el arca del pacto cubierta de todas partes alrededor de oro; en la que [estaba] una urna de oro que contenía el maná, y la vara de Aarón que reverdeció, y las tablas del pacto;
4 having a golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which was a golden pot holding the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;
5 Over the arcke were the cherubis of glory shadowynge the seate of grace. Of which thynges we wyll not now speake perticularly.
5 and above it cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat, of which things we can’t speak now in detail.
6 When these thynges were thus ordeyned the prestes went all wayes into the fyrst tabernacle and executed the service of god. 6 Y estas cosas así ordenadas, en el primer tabernáculo siempre entraban los sacerdotes para hacer los oficios del culto;
6 Now these things having been thus prepared, the priests go in continually into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the services,
7 But into the seconde went the hye prest alone once every yeare: and not with out bloud which he offered for him silfe and for the ignoraunce of the people.
7 but into the second the high priest alone, once in the year, not without blood, which he offers for himself and for the errors of the people.
8 Wherwith the holy goost this signifyeng that the waye of holy thynges was not yet opened whill as yet the fyrst tabernacle was stondynge.
8 The Holy Spirit is indicating this, that the way into the Holy Place wasn’t yet revealed while the first tabernacle was still standing.
9 Which was a similitude for the tyme then present and in which were offered gyftes and sacrifises that coulde not make them that minister parfecte as pertaynynge to the conscience 9 Lo cual [era] figura de aquel tiempo presente, en el cual se ofrecían presentes y sacrificios que no podían hacer perfecto, cuanto á la conciencia, al que servía [con ellos];
9 This is a symbol of the present age, where gifts and sacrifices are offered that are incapable, concerning the conscience, of making the worshiper perfect,
10 with only meates and drinkes and divers wesshynges and iustifyinges of the flesshe which were ordeyned vntyll the tyme of reformacion.
10 being only (with foods and drinks and various washings) fleshly ordinances, imposed until a time of reformation.
11 But Christ beynge an hye prest of good thynges to come came by a greater and a moare parfecte tabernacle not made with hondes: that is to saye not of this maner bildynge 11 Mas estando ya presente Cristo, pontífice de los bienes que habían de venir, por el más amplio y más perfecto tabernáculo, no hecho de manos, es á saber, no de esta creación;
11 But Christ having come as a high priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation,
12 nether by the bloud of gotes and calves: but by his awne bloud we entred once for all into the holy place and founde eternall redempcion.
12 nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption.
13 For yf the bloud of oxen and of Gotes and the asshes of an heyfer when it was sprynckled puryfied the vnclene as touchynge the purifiynge of the flesshe: 13 Porque si la sangre de los toros y de los machos cabríos, y la ceniza de la becerra, rociada á los inmundos, santifica para la purificación de la carne,
13 For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify to the cleanness of the flesh,
14 How moche more shall the bloud of Christ (which thorow the eternall sprete offered him silfe with out spot to God) pourdge youre consciences from deed workes for to serve the livynge god?
14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without defect to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
15 And for this cause is he the mediator of the newe testament that thorow deeth which chaunsed for the redempcion of those transgressions that were in the fyrst testament) they which were called myght receave the promes of eternall inheritaunce.
15 For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
16 For whersoever is a testament there must also be the deeth of him that maketh the testament.
16 For where a last will and testament is, there must of necessity be the death of him who made it.
17 For the testament taketh auctoritie when men are deed: For it is of no value as longe as he that made it is a live.
17 For a will is in force where there has been death, for it is never in force while he who made it lives.
18 For which cause also nether that fyrst testament was ordeyned with out bloud.
18 Therefore even the first covenant has not been dedicated without blood.
19 For when all the commaundementes were redde of Moses vnto all the people he toke the bloud of calves and of Gotes with water and purple woll and ysope and sprynkled both the boke and all the people 19 Porque habiendo leído Moisés todos los mandamientos de la ley á todo el pueblo, tomando la sangre de los becerros y de los machos cabríos, con agua, y lana de grana, é hisopo, roció al mismo libro, y también á todo el pueblo,
19 For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,
20 sayinge: this is the bloud of the testament which god hath apoynted vnto you.
20 saying, “This is the blood of the covenant which God has commanded you.”
21 Morover he sprenkled the tabernacle with bloud also and all the ministrynge vessels.
21 He sprinkled the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry in the same way with the blood.
22 And almost all thynges are bye the lawe pourged with bloud and with out effusion of bloud is no remission.
22 According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.
23 It is then nede that the similitudes of hevenly thynges be purified with soche thynges: but the hevenly thynges them selves are purified with better sacrifises then are those.
23 It was necessary therefore that the copies of the things in the heavens should be cleansed with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
24 For Christ is not entred into the holy places that are made with hondes which are but similitudes of true thynges: but is entred into very heven for to appere now in the syght of God for vs: 24 Porque no entró Cristo en el santuario hecho de mano, figura del verdadero, sino en el mismo cielo para presentarse ahora por nosotros en la presencia de Dios.
24 For Christ hasn’t entered into holy places made with hands, which are representations of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;
25 not to offer him silfe often as the hye prest entreth in to the holy place every yeare with straunge bloud 25 Y no para ofrecerse muchas veces á sí mismo, como entra el pontífice en el santuario cada año con sangre ajena;
25 nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest enters into the holy place year by year with blood not his own,
26 for then must he have often suffered sence the worlde began. But now in the ende of the worlde hath he appered once to put synne to flyght by the offerynge vp of him silfe.
26 or else he must have suffered often since the foundation of the world. But now once at the end of the ages, he has been revealed to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 And as it is apoynted vnto men that they shall once dye and then commeth the iudgement 27 Y de la manera que está establecido á los hombres que mueran una vez, y después el juicio;
27 Inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment,
28 even so Christ was once offered to take awaye the synnes of many and vnto them that loke for him shall he appeare agayne without synne vnto saluacion.
28 so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.
