“Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!””Luke 23:46; Psalm 31:5 (30 LXX)
Reflexión (en inglés)
Jesus took a verse from the Psalms (Psalm 31:5 (30 LXX)) as His final prayer from the cross, and Christians have long prayed it at bedtime. To pray 'into Your hands' each night is to rehearse the deepest trust there is — that we are safe in God's keeping, in sleep and in death alike.
Una oración (en inglés)
Into Your hands, O Lord, I commit my spirit, my body, my loved ones, and this day now ended. Guard me through the night, and wake me to Your mercies in the morning. Amen.
Llévalo contigo (en inglés)
Pray slowly, three times: 'Into Your hands, O Lord, I commit my spirit.'
