“Wait for the Lord. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for the Lord.”Psalm 27:14 (26 LXX)
Reflexión (en inglés)
This psalm ends not with an answer but with an encouragement, repeated twice so we will not miss it: wait for the Lord. Courage and waiting belong together, because it takes real bravery to keep trusting when the resolution has not arrived. As this short journey closes, you are not being sent away empty; you are being sent back into your waiting with a stronger heart. The God you have waited on is the same God who waits with you.
Una oración (en inglés)
Lord, as these days of prayer come to a close, let your word steady me: be strong, take courage, and wait for you. Where I have grown discouraged, lift my heart again; where I have grown impatient, settle me in your faithfulness. I give you my unanswered prayers once more, trusting your timing and your love. Help me to keep waiting on you with courage, and to know that you are near. Amen.
Llévalo contigo (en inglés)
As you finish this plan, what is one way you can keep waiting on God with courage in the days ahead?
