Forgiveness

Five gentle days of releasing old wounds and receiving God's mercy

5 days · 7 min/day

A calm, five-day journey into the freeing work of forgiveness: learning to forgive those who have hurt us while resting in the steady mercy God offers us in Christ.

This plan is a devotional aid meant to accompany prayer and reflection, not a replacement for pastoral guidance, counseling, or medical care. Forgiveness is a journey, not a single moment; if a wound runs deep or involves ongoing harm, please reach out to your priest or spiritual father, or a trusted pastor or counselor for support. Forgiving does not require staying in danger or pretending the harm did not happen.

  1. Day 1: The Mercy We Have Been Given — Ephesians 4:32
  2. Day 2: Naming the Hurt Honestly — Psalm 62:8

  4. Day 4: When Forgiving Is Hard — Matthew 18:21-22
  5. Day 5: Resting in Peace and Freedom — Romans 12:18
