1 And it came to pass, when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were appointed,
1 Y LUEGO que el muro fué edificado, y asenté las puertas, y fueron señalados porteros y cantores y Levitas,
2 that I gave charge to Ananias my brother, and Ananias the ruler of the palace, over Jerusalem: for he was a true man, and one that feared God beyond many.
2 Mandé á mi hermano Hanani, y á Hananías, príncipe del palacio de Jerusalem, (porque era éste, como varón de verdad y temeroso de Dios, sobre muchos;)
3 And I said to them, The gates of Jerusalem shall not be opened till sunrise; and while they are still watching, let the doors be shut, and bolted; and set watches of them that dwell in Jerusalem, [every] man at his post, and [every] man over against his house.
3 Y díjeles: No se abran las puertas de Jerusalem hasta que caliente el sol: y aun ellos presentes, cierren las puertas, y atrancad. Y señalé guardas de los moradores de Jerusalem, cada cual en su guardia, y cada uno delante de su casa.
4 Now the city [was] wide and large; and the people [were] few in it, and the houses were not built.
4 Y la ciudad era espaciosa y grande, pero poco pueblo dentro de ella, y no había casas reedificadas.
5 And God put [it] into my heart, and I gathered the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, into companies: and I found a register of the company that came up first, and I found written in it as follows:
5 Y puso Dios en mi corazón que juntase los principales, y los magistrados, y el pueblo, para que fuesen empadronados por el orden de sus linajes: y hallé el libro de la genealogía de los que habían subido antes, y encontré en él escrito:
6 Now these [are] the children of the country, that came up from captivity, of the number which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon carried away, and they returned to Jerusalem and to Judah, [every] man to his city;
6 Estos son los hijos de la provincia que subieron de la cautividad, de la transmigración que hizo pasar Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, y que volvieron á Jerusalem y á Judá cada uno á su ciudad;
7 with Zerubbabel, and Jeshua, and Nehemiah, Azariah, and Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Ezra, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah, Masphar, men of the people of Israel.

8 The children of Parosh, two thousand one hundred and seventy-two.

62 The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred and forty-two.
62 Los hijos de Delaía, los hijos de Tobías, los hijos de Necoda, seiscientos cuarenta y dos.
63 And of the priests; the children of Hobaiah, the children of Hakkoz, the children of Barzillai, for they took wives of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and they were called by their name.
63 Y de los sacerdotes: los hijos de Habaías, los hijos de Cos, los hijos de Barzillai, el cual tomó mujer de las hijas de Barzillai Galaadita, y se llamó del nombre de ellas.
64 These sought the pedigree of their company, and it was not found, and they were removed [as polluted] from the priesthood.
64 Estos buscaron su registro de genealogías, y no se halló; y fueron echados del sacerdocio.
65 And the Athersastha said, that they should not eat of the most holy things, until a priest should stand up to give light.
65 Y díjoles el Tirsatha que no comiesen de las cosas más santas, hasta que hubiese sacerdote con Urim y Thummim.
66 And all the congregation was about forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty,
66 La congregación toda junta era [de] cuarenta y dos mil trescientos y sesenta,
67 besides their menservants and their maidservants: these were seven thousand three hundred and thirty-seven: and the singing men and singing women, two hundred and forty-five.
67 Sin sus siervos y siervas, que eran siete mil trescientos treinta y siete; y entre ellos había doscientos cuarenta y cinco cantores y cantoras. 68 Sus caballos, setecientos treinta y seis; sus mulos, doscientos cuarenta y cinco;
69 Two thousand seven hundred asses.
69 Camellos, cuatrocientos treinta y cinco; asnos, seis mil setecientos y veinte.
70 And part of the heads of families gave into the treasury to Nehemiah for the work a thousand pieces of gold, fifty bowls, and thirty priests’ [garments].
70 Y algunos de los príncipes de las familias dieron para la obra. El Tirsatha dió para el tesoro mil dracmas de oro, cincuenta tazones, y quinientas treinta vestiduras sacerdotales.
71 And [some] of the heads of families gave into the treasuries of the work, twenty thousand pieces of gold, and two thousand three hundred pounds of silver.
71 Y de los príncipes de las familias dieron para el tesoro de la obra, veinte mil dracmas de oro, y dos mil y doscientas libras de plata.
72 And the rest of the people gave twenty thousand pieces of gold, and two thousand two hundred pounds of silver, and sixty-seven priests’ [garments].
72 Y lo que dió el resto del pueblo fué veinte mil dracmas de oro, y dos mil libras de plata, y sesenta y siete vestiduras sacerdotales.
73 And the priests, and Levites, and porters, and singers, and [some] of the people, and the Nathinim, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities.
73 Y habitaron los sacerdotes y los Levitas, y los porteros, y los cantores, y los del pueblo, y los Nethineos, y todo Israel, en sus ciudades. Y venido el mes séptimo, los hijos de Israel estaban en sus ciudades.
