1 A revelation about Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.
2 Bog je revnitelj i Gospod je osvetnik; osvetnik je Gospod i gnevi se; Gospod se sveti protivnicima svojim, i drži gnev prema neprijateljima svojim.
2 Dios celoso y vengador es Jehová; vengador es Jehová, y Señor de ira; Jehová, que se venga de sus adversarios, y que guarda [enojo] para sus enemigos.
2 Yahweh is a jealous God and avenges. Yahweh avenges and is full of wrath. Yahweh takes vengeance on his adversaries, and he maintains wrath against his enemies.
3 Gospod je spor na gnev i velike je moći; ali nikako ne pravda krivca; put je Gospodnji u vihoru i buri, i oblaci su prah od nogu Njegovih.
3 Jehová es tardo para la ira, y grande en poder, y no tendrá [al culpado] por inocente. Jehová marcha entre la tempestad y turbión, y las nubes son el polvo de sus pies.
3 Yahweh is slow to anger, and great in power, and will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. Yahweh has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
4 Zaprećuje moru i isušuje ga, i sve reke isušuje, vene Vasan i Karmil, i cvet vasanski vene.
4 El amenaza á la mar, y la hace secar, y agosta todos los ríos: Basán fué destruído, y el Carmelo, y la flor del Líbano fué destruída.
4 He rebukes the sea and makes it dry, and dries up all the rivers. Bashan and Carmel languish. The flower of Lebanon languishes.
5 Gore se tresu od Njega, i humovi se rastapaju, a zemlja gori pred Njim i vasiljena i sve što živi u njoj.
5 Los montes tiemblan de él, y los collados se deslíen; y la tierra se abrasa á su presencia, y el mundo, y todos los que en él habitan.
5 The mountains quake before him, and the hills melt away. The earth trembles at his presence, yes, the world, and all who dwell in it.
6 Pred gnevom Njegovim ko će se održati? I ko će se opreti jarosti gneva Njegovog? Jarost se Njegova izliva kao oganj, i stene se raspadaju pred Njim.
6 ¿Quién permanecerá delante de su ira? ¿y quién quedará en pié en el furor de su enojo? Su ira se derrama como fuego, y por él se hienden las peñas.
6 Who can stand before his indignation? Who can endure the fierceness of his anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken apart by him.
7 Dobar je Gospod, grad je u nevolji, i poznaje one koji se uzdaju u Nj.
7 Bueno es Jehová para fortaleza en el día de la angustia; y conoce á los que en él confían.
7 Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.
8 Ali će silnom poplavom učiniti kraj mestu njenom, i tama će goniti neprijatelje Njegove.
8 Mas con inundación impetuosa hará consumación de su lugar, y tinieblas perseguirán á sus enemigos.
8 But with an overflowing flood, he will make a full end of her place, and will pursue his enemies into darkness.
9 Šta smišljate Gospodu? On će učiniti kraj; neće se dva puta podignuti pogibao.
9 ¿Qué pensáis contra Jehová? El hará consumación: la tribulación no se levantará dos veces.
9 What do you plot against Yahweh? He will make a full end. Affliction won’t rise up the second time.
10 Jer kao trnje spleteni i kao od vina pijani proždreće se kao suva slama.
10 Porque como espinas entretegidas, mientras se embriagarán los borrachos, serán consumidos como las estopas llenas de sequedad.
10 For entangled like thorns, and drunken as with their drink, they are consumed utterly like dry stubble.
11 Iz tebe je izašao koji smišlja zlo Gospodu, savetnik nevaljao.
11 De ti salió el que pensó mal contra Jehová, un consultor impío.
11 One has gone out of you who devises evil against Yahweh, who counsels wickedness.
12 Ovako veli Gospod: Ako i jesu u sili i mnogo ih ima, opet će se iseći i proći. Mučio sam te, neću te više mučiti.
12 Así ha dicho Jehová: Aunque reposo tengan, y sean tantos, así serán talados, y él pasará. Bien que te he afligido, no más te afligiré.
12 Yahweh says: “Though they are in full strength and likewise many, even so they will be cut down and pass away. Though I have afflicted you, I will afflict you no more.
13 Nego ću sada slomiti jaram njegov s tebe, i pokidaću tvoje okove.
13 Porque ahora quebraré su yugo de sobre ti, y romperé tus coyundas.
13 Now I will break his yoke from off you, and will burst your bonds apart.”
14 Ali za tebe zapovedi Gospod da se ne seje više ime tvoje; iz doma bogova tvojih istrebiću likove rezane i livene; načiniću ti od njega grob kad budeš prezren.
14 Mas acerca de ti mandará Jehová, que nunca más sea sembrado alguno de tu nombre: de la casa de tu dios talaré escultura y estatua de fundición, haréla tu sepulcro; porque fuiste vil.
14 Yahweh has commanded concerning you: “No more descendants will bear your name. Out of the house of your gods, I will cut off the engraved image and the molten image. I will make your grave, for you are vile.”
15 Eto, na gorama noge onog koji nosi dobre glase, koji oglašuje mir. Praznuj, Juda, svoje praznike, ispunjaj zavete svoje, jer zlikovac neće više prolaziti po tebi; sasvim se zatro.
15 He aquí sobre los montes los pies del que trae buenas nuevas, del que pregona la paz. Celebra, oh Judá, tus fiestas, cumple tus votos: porque nunca más pasará por ti el malvado; pereció del todo.
15 Behold, on the mountains the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace! Keep your feasts, Judah! Perform your vows, for the wicked one will no more pass through you. He is utterly cut off.
