1 وَأَرْسَلَ حِيرَامُ مَلِكُ صُورَ رُسُلًا إِلَى دَاوُدَ وَخَشَبَ أَرْزٍ وَبَنَّائِينَ وَنَجَّارِينَ لِيَبْنُوا لَهُ بَيْتًا.
1 E HIRAM rey de Tiro envió embajadores á David, y madera de cedro, y albañiles y carpinteros, que le edificasen una casa.
2 وَعَلِمَ دَاوُدُ أَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ قَدْ أَثْبَتَهُ مَلِكًا عَلَى إِسْرَائِيلَ، لِأَنَّ مَمْلَكَتَهُ ٱرْتَفَعَتْ مُتَصَاعِدَةً مِنْ أَجْلِ شَعْبِهِ إِسْرَائِيلَ.
2 Y entendió David que Jehová lo había confirmado por rey sobre Israel, y que había ensalzado su reino sobre su pueblo Israel.
3 وَأَخَذَ دَاوُدُ نِسَاءً أَيْضًا فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ، وَوَلَدَ أَيْضًا دَاوُدُ بَنِينَ وَبَنَاتٍ.
3 Entonces David tomó también mujeres en Jerusalem y aun engendró David hijos é hijas.
4 وَهَذِهِ أَسْمَاءُ ٱلْأَوْلَادِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَانُوا لَهُ فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ: شَمُّوعُ وَشُوبَابُ وَنَاثَانُ وَسُلَيْمَانُ
4 Y estos son los nombres de los que le nacieron en Jerusalem: Samua, Sobab, Nathán, Salomón,
5 وَيِبْحَارُ وَأَلِيشُوعُ وَأَلِفَالَطُ
5 Ibhar, Elisua, Eliphelet,
6 وَنُوجَهُ وَنَافَجُ وَيَافِيعُ
6 Noga, Nepheg, Japhías,
7 وَأَلِيشَمَعُ وَبَعَلْيَادَاعُ وَأَلِيفَلَطُ.
7 Elisama, Beel-iada y Eliphelet.
8 وَسَمِعَ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيُّونَ أَنَّ دَاوُدَ قَدْ مُسِحَ مَلِكًا عَلَى كُلِّ إِسْرَائِيلَ، فَصَعِدَ كُلُّ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ لِيُفَتِّشُوا عَلَى دَاوُدَ. وَلَمَّا سَمِعَ دَاوُدُ خَرَجَ لِٱسْتِقْبَالِهِمْ.
8 Y oyendo los Filisteos que David había sido ungido por rey sobre todo Israel, subieron todos los Filisteos en busca de David. Y como David lo oyó, salió contra ellos.
9 فَجَاءَ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيُّونَ وَٱنْتَشَرُوا فِي وَادِي ٱلرَّفَائِيِّينَ.
9 Y vinieron los Filisteos, y extendiéronse por el valle de Raphaim.
10 فَسَأَلَ دَاوُدُ مِنَ ٱللهِ قَائِلًا: «أَأَصْعَدُ عَلَى ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ فَتَدْفَعُهُمْ لِيَدِي؟» فَقَالَ لَهُ ٱلرَّبُّ: «ٱصْعَدْ فَأَدْفَعَهُمْ لِيَدِكَ».
10 Entonces David consultó á Dios, diciendo: ¿Subiré contra los Filisteos? ¿los entregarás en mi mano? Y Jehová le dijo: Sube, que yo los entregaré en tus manos.
11 فَصَعِدُوا إِلَى بَعْلِ فَرَاصِيمَ وَضَرَبَهُمْ دَاوُدُ هُنَاكَ. وَقَالَ دَاوُدُ: «قَدِ ٱقْتَحَمَ ٱللهُ أَعْدَائِي بِيَدِي كَٱقْتِحَامِ ٱلْمِيَاهِ». لِذَلِكَ دَعَوْا ٱسْمَ ذَلِكَ ٱلْمَوْضِعِ «بَعْلَ فَرَاصِيمَ».
11 Subieron pues á Baal-perasim, y allí los hirió David. Dijo luego David: Dios rompió mis enemigos por mi mano, como se rompen las aguas. Por esto llamaron el nombre de aquel lugar Baal-perasim.
12 وَتَرَكُوا هُنَاكَ آلِهَتَهُمْ، فَأَمَرَ دَاوُدُ فَأُحْرِقَتْ بِٱلنَّارِ.
12 Y dejaron allí sus dioses, y David dijo que los quemasen al fuego.
13 ثُمَّ عَادَ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيُّونَ أَيْضًا وَٱنْتَشَرُوا فِي ٱلْوَادِي.
13 Y volviendo los Filisteos á extenderse por el valle,
14 فَسَأَلَ أَيْضًا دَاوُدُ مِنَ ٱللهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ ٱللهُ: «لَا تَصْعَدْ وَرَاءَهُمْ، تَحَوَّلْ عَنْهُمْ وَهَلُمَّ عَلَيْهِمْ مُقَابِلَ أَشْجَارِ ٱلْبُكَا.
14 David volvió á consultar á Dios, y Dios le dijo: No subas tras ellos, sino rodéalos, para venir á ellos por delante de los morales;
15 وَعِنْدَمَا تَسْمَعُ صَوْتَ خَطَوَاتٍ فِي رُؤُوسِ أَشْجَارِ ٱلْبُكَا فَٱخْرُجْ حِينَئِذٍ لِلْحَرْبِ، لِأَنَّ ٱللهَ يَخْرُجُ أَمَامَكَ لِضَرْبِ مَحَلَّةِ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ».
15 Y así que oyeres venir un estruendo por las copas de los morales, sal luego á la batalla: porque Dios saldrá delante de ti, y herirá el campo de los Filisteos.
16 فَفَعَلَ دَاوُدُ كَمَا أَمَرَهُ ٱللهُ، وَضَرَبُوا مَحَلَّةَ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ مِنْ جِبْعُونَ إِلَى جَازِرَ.
16 Hizo pues David como Dios le mandó, é hirieron el campo de los Filisteos desde Gabaón hasta Gezer.
17 وَخَرَجَ ٱسْمُ دَاوُدَ إِلَى جَمِيعِ ٱلْأَرَاضِي، وَجَعَلَ ٱلرَّبُّ هَيْبَتَهُ عَلَى جَمِيعِ ٱلْأُمَمِ.
17 Y la fama de David fué divulgada por todas aquellas tierras: y puso Jehová temor de David sobre todas las gentes.
