The work will keep. Sleep itself is an act of trust — a daily confession that the world is upheld by God and not by your effort. Hand back the unfinished list to the One who never sleeps.

Father, I set down the unfinished. It is not all on me, and it never was. You grant sleep to those You love, and I am loved. I rest now and trust You with tomorrow. Amen.
