“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.”2 Corinthians 5:17
Reflexión (en inglés)
To follow Jesus is to begin again. Scripture says that in Christ you are a new creation — not merely improved, but made new. Your past does not define you; a fresh story has begun. You may not feel different all at once, and that is alright. The newness is real and God's, and He will keep unfolding it in you, day by day. In the Church this new birth is given in holy Baptism (Romans 6:3-4) and lived out in repentance and her Mysteries.
Una oración (en inglés)
Father, thank You for the new beginning You have given me in Jesus. I am amazed that You call me a new creation, that the old has passed and all things are becoming new. Where I still feel the weight of who I was, remind me of who I now am in You. Keep making me new, gently and surely, as I learn to walk with You. Amen.
Llévalo contigo (en inglés)
