Coming As You Are (en inglés)
Por ahora, los textos de estas oraciones están en inglés. Solo publicamos en español las oraciones cuya traducción podemos verificar en una fuente ortodoxa publicada o en la Reina-Valera 1909.
“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls.”Matthew 11:28-29
Reflexión (en inglés)
Jesus does not wait for us to put ourselves in order before we come to him; he invites the weary and burdened just as they are. If a habit has worn you down, notice that he calls himself gentle and humble, not harsh or impatient. The road begins not with shame but with rest in the One who already knows everything and still says, Come.
Una oración (en inglés)
Lord Jesus, I come to you today tired and burdened, carrying a weight I have not been able to set down on my own. Thank you that you welcome me gently, without scolding, and that you offer rest to my soul. Teach me to walk close to you, one step at a time, trusting that you are patient with me. Help me to believe that I am safe in your presence. Amen.
Llévalo contigo (en inglés)
What burden are you carrying today that you have been afraid to bring honestly to God?
