Honest Prayer
A Grateful Heart

Día 3 · A Grateful Heart

Gratitude in the Hard Places (en inglés)

Por ahora, los textos de estas oraciones están en inglés. Solo publicamos en español las oraciones cuya traducción podemos verificar en una fuente ortodoxa publicada o en la Reina-Valera 1909.

“For even though the fig tree doesn't flourish, nor fruit be in the vines, the labor of the olive fails, the fields yield no food, the flocks are cut off from the fold, and there is no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord. I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!”Habakkuk 3:17-18

Reflexión (en inglés)

Thanksgiving is not pretending that everything is well or denying real pain. It is choosing, even when the harvest fails, to rejoice in the God who remains. Gratitude in the hard places is honest; it carries our sorrow to God and still trusts that He is good.

Una oración (en inglés)

God of all comfort, You know the places in my life where things have not gone as I hoped. I bring You my disappointments honestly, without hiding them. And even here, I choose to give thanks that You are still with me, still faithful, still my salvation. Hold me steady when my circumstances feel uncertain, for my hope rests in You. Amen.

Llévalo contigo (en inglés)

Where might God be inviting you to trust Him even before your situation changes?
