Marriage is two people learning, over many ordinary days, to love each other the way Christ loves us. Whether your spouse is beside you, far away, or still unknown and prayed for, you can lift them up with tenderness rather than expectation. To pray for someone is to begin seeing them again with grace.
Una oración (en inglés)
Gracious God, thank You for the gift of marriage and for the person You have joined to my life, or the one You may yet bring. Wrap my spouse in Your love today and meet the needs only You fully see. Where there is distance or hurt between us, soften both our hearts and draw us together again in patience and kindness. Help me to love not to be loved in return, but because You first loved me. Amen.
