To Abraham, God revealed Himself as God Almighty — the all-sufficient, all-powerful One. This name steadies us when our problems feel bigger than our strength. The God who calls us to walk before Him is mightier than anything we face. To know God as Almighty is to remember that nothing is too hard for Him, and to trust accordingly.

El-Shaddai, God Almighty, the all-sufficient One, I confess that my problems often loom larger in my eyes than You do. Lift my gaze. You are mightier than anything I face, and nothing is too hard for You. Help me to walk before You in trust, leaning on Your strength rather than my own. Be my all-sufficient God today. Amen.
