Trust in the Psalms is not naive; it stares down real enemies and still says 'whom shall I fear?' It ends with an instruction we give ourselves: wait, be strong, take heart. Trust is often simply waiting well.

Lord, You are my light and my salvation. I will not let fear have the final word. I am confident I will see Your goodness. Make me strong as I wait for You. Amen.
