Día 5 · Preparing for Confession
A Clean Heart, A New Start (en inglés)
Por ahora, los textos de estas oraciones están en inglés. Solo publicamos en español las oraciones cuya traducción podemos verificar en una fuente ortodoxa publicada o en la Reina-Valera 1909.
“Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me.”Psalm 51:10 (50 LXX)
Reflexión (en inglés)
Confession does not end in regret; it opens into renewal. We cannot manufacture a clean heart by trying harder, so we ask God to create what only he can give. As you prepare to confess, look ahead with hope, for the same God who forgives also makes us new and steadies us to keep walking.
Una oración (en inglés)
Creator God, do in me what I cannot do for myself: make my heart clean and steady my spirit. Let my confession be a doorway, not into lingering shame, but into a fresh beginning in your grace. Strengthen me to walk forward gently and faithfully, leaning on you each day. Thank you for the new start you so freely give. Amen.
Llévalo contigo (en inglés)
As you imagine walking forward with a clean heart, what is one small, hopeful step you sense God inviting you to take?
