When God Feels Far Away

Día 1 · When God Feels Far Away

Honest in the Silence (en inglés)

“How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart every day?”Psalm 13:1-2 (12 LXX)

Reflexión (en inglés)

Sometimes God feels distant — prayers seem to hit the ceiling, and the warmth we once felt is gone. The Psalms give us permission to say so. 'How long, O Lord?' is a prayer, not a failure of faith. God is not fragile; He can handle our honesty. Bringing our sense of His absence directly to Him is itself an act of faith — and often the first step back toward Him.

Una oración (en inglés)

Lord, I will be honest: lately You feel far away. My prayers seem to go unanswered, and the nearness I once knew has faded. Like the psalmist, I ask: how long? Thank You that You can hold my honesty without turning away. I bring You my confusion and my longing. Even now, in the silence, I am still speaking to You — and I will keep speaking. Amen.

Llévalo contigo (en inglés)

Can you tell God honestly that He feels far away, trusting that your honesty is welcome?
