1 Ски́нїю же да сотвори́ши ѿ десѧтѝ ѻ҆пѡ́нъ ѿ вѷссо́на ска́нагѡ и҆ синеты̀, и҆ багрѧни́цы и҆ червлени́цы ска́ныѧ: херꙋві́мы дѣ́ломъ тка́нымъ да сотвори́ши ѧ҆̀.
1 “Moreover you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, with cherubim. You shall make them with the work of a skillful workman.
2 Долгота̀ ѻ҆по́ны є҆ди́ныѧ два́десѧть и҆ ѻ҆́смь ла́ктїй, и҆ широта̀ четы́рехъ ла́ктїй, ѻ҆по́на є҆ди́на да бꙋ́детъ: мѣ́ра та́ѧжде да бꙋ́детъ всѣ̑мъ ѻ҆по́намъ.
2 The length of each curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits: all the curtains shall have one measure.
3 Пѧ́ть же ѻ҆по́нъ да бꙋ́дꙋтъ взаи́мъ придержа́щѧсѧ є҆ди́на ѿ дрꙋгі́ѧ, и҆ пѧ́ть ѻ҆по́нъ да бꙋ́дꙋтъ содержа́щѧсѧ дрꙋга̀ ѡ҆ дрꙋзѣ́й.
3 Five curtains shall be coupled together to one another, and the other five curtains shall be coupled to one another.
4 И҆ да сотвори́ши и҆̀мъ пє́тли и҆з̾ синеты̀ ᲂу҆ кра́ѧ ѻ҆по́ны є҆ди́ныѧ, ѿ є҆ди́ныѧ страны̀ въ сложе́нїе: и҆ си́це сотвори́ши на краю̀ ѻ҆по́ны внѣ́шнїѧ къ сложе́нїю второ́мꙋ.
4 You shall make loops of blue on the edge of the one curtain from the edge in the coupling, and you shall do likewise on the edge of the curtain that is outermost in the second coupling.
5 Пѧтьдесѧ́тъ же пе́тлей сотвори́ши є҆ди́нѣй ѻ҆по́нѣ, и҆ пѧтьдесѧ́тъ пе́тлей да сотвори́ши ѿ кра́ѧ ѻ҆по́ны по сложе́нїю вторы́ѧ, лице́мъ къ лицꙋ̀ сходѧ́щыѧсѧ междꙋ̀ собо́ю ка́ѧждо.
5 You shall make fifty loops in the one curtain, and you shall make fifty loops in the edge of the curtain that is in the second coupling. The loops shall be opposite one another.
6 И҆ сотвори́ши пѧтьдесѧ́тъ крючкѡ́въ златы́хъ и҆ совокꙋпи́ши ѻ҆пѡ́ны є҆ди́нꙋ ко дрꙋзѣ́й крючка́ми: и҆ бꙋ́детъ ски́нїѧ є҆ди́на.
6 You shall make fifty clasps of gold, and couple the curtains to one another with the clasps. The tabernacle shall be a unit.
7 И҆ да сотвори́ши ѻ҆пѡ́ны власѧны̑ѧ въ покро́въ над̾ ски́нїею, є҆динона́десѧть ѻ҆по́нъ сотвори́ши и҆̀хъ.
7 “You shall make curtains of goats’ hair for a covering over the tabernacle. You shall make eleven curtains.
8 Долгота̀ ѻ҆по́ны є҆ди́ныѧ да бꙋ́детъ три́десѧти ла́ктїй, и҆ четы́рехъ ла́ктїй широта̀ ѻ҆по́ны є҆ди́ныѧ: та́ѧжде мѣ́ра да бꙋ́детъ є҆динона́десѧти ѻ҆по́намъ.
8 The length of each curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits: the eleven curtains shall have one measure.
9 И҆ совокꙋпи́ши пѧ́ть ѻ҆по́нъ вкꙋ́пѣ, и҆ ше́сть ѻ҆по́нъ вкꙋ́пѣ: и҆ ᲂу҆сꙋгꙋ́биши ѻ҆по́нꙋ шестꙋ́ю ко вхо́дꙋ ски́нїи.
9 You shall couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shall double over the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tent.
10 И҆ да сотвори́ши пе́тлей пѧтьдесѧ́тъ на краѝ ѻ҆по́ны є҆ди́ныѧ, ꙗ҆́же средѣ̀ по сложе́нїю, и҆ пѧтьдесѧ́тъ пе́тлей да сотвори́ши на краѝ ѻ҆по́ны совокꙋплѧ́ющїѧсѧ вторы́ѧ.
10 You shall make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outermost in the coupling, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain which is outermost in the second coupling.
11 И҆ сотвори́ши крючкѡ́въ мѣ́дѧныхъ пѧтьдесѧ́тъ: и҆ совокꙋпи́ши крючкѝ съ пе́тлѧми, и҆ да совокꙋпи́ши ѻ҆пѡ́ны, и҆ бꙋ́детъ є҆ди́но.
11 You shall make fifty clasps of bronze, and put the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one.
12 И҆ да подложи́ши и҆зли́шнее ѿ ѻ҆по́нъ ски́нїи: полꙋѻпо́ною ѡ҆ста́вшеюсѧ да покры́еши и҆зли́шнее ѻ҆по́нъ ски́нїи: да прикры́еши созадѝ ски́нїи.
12 The overhanging part that remains of the curtains of the tent—the half curtain that remains—shall hang over the back of the tabernacle.
13 Ла́коть (є҆ди́нъ) ѿ сегѡ̀, и҆ ла́коть (є҆ди́нъ) ѿ дрꙋга́гѡ, ѿ и҆зли́шнѧгѡ ѻ҆по́нъ, въ долготꙋ̀ ѻ҆по́нъ ски́нїи: да бꙋ́детъ покрыва́ющее на странѣ̀ ски́нїи, сю́дꙋ и҆ сю́дꙋ да покрыва́етъ.
13 The cubit on the one side and the cubit on the other side, of that which remains in the length of the curtains of the tent, shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it.
14 И҆ да сотвори́ши покро́въ ски́нїи ѿ ко́жъ ѻ҆́внихъ червле́ныхъ, и҆ прикрыва̑ла ѿ ко́жъ си́нихъ све́рхꙋ.
14 You shall make a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red, and a covering of sea cow hides above.
15 И҆ да сотвори́ши столпы̀ ски́нїи ѿ дре́въ негнїю́щихъ:
15 “You shall make the boards for the tabernacle of acacia wood, standing upright.
16 десѧтѝ ла́ктїй (въ высотꙋ̀) да сотвори́ши сто́лпъ є҆ди́нъ, ла́ктѧ же є҆ди́нагѡ и҆ по́лъ широта̀ столпа̀ є҆ди́нагѡ:
16 Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and one and a half cubits the width of each board.
17 два̀ закрѡ́йца (на краѧ́хъ) столпꙋ̀ є҆ди́номꙋ, проти́вꙋ стѡѧ́ща дрꙋгъдрꙋ́гꙋ: та́кѡ сотвори́ши всѣ̑мъ столпѡ́мъ ски́нїи.
17 There shall be two tenons in each board, joined to one another: thus you shall make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
18 И҆ да сотвори́ши столпы̀ ски́нїи, два́десѧть столпѡ́въ ѿ страны̀ ꙗ҆́же къ сѣ́верꙋ:
18 You shall make twenty boards for the tabernacle, for the south side southward.
19 и҆ четы́редесѧть стоѧ́лѡвъ сре́брѧныхъ да сотвори́ши два́десѧтимъ столпѡ́мъ: два̀ стѡѧ́ла є҆ди́номꙋ столпꙋ̀ на ѻ҆бои́хъ кра́ехъ є҆гѡ̀ и҆ два̀ стѡѧ́ла дрꙋго́мꙋ столпꙋ̀ на ѻ҆бои́хъ кра́ехъ є҆гѡ̀:
19 You shall make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for its two tenons, and two sockets under another board for its two tenons.
20 и҆ въ странѣ̀ вторѣ́й ю҆́жнѣй два́десѧть столпѡ́въ:
20 For the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side, twenty boards,
21 и҆ четы́редесѧть стоѧ́лѡвъ и҆̀мъ сре́брѧныхъ: два̀ стѡѧ́ла столпꙋ̀ є҆ди́номꙋ на ѻ҆бои́хъ кра́ехъ є҆гѡ̀ и҆ два̀ стѡѧ́ла столпꙋ̀ дрꙋго́мꙋ на ѻ҆бои́хъ кра́ехъ є҆гѡ̀.
21 and their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
22 И҆ созадѝ ски́нїи по странѣ̀ ꙗ҆́же къ мо́рю да сотвори́ши ше́сть столпѡ́въ,
22 For the far side of the tabernacle westward you shall make six boards.
23 и҆ два̀ стѡлпа̀ сотвори́ши во ᲂу҆́глахъ ски́нїи созадѝ.
23 You shall make two boards for the corners of the tabernacle in the far side.
24 И҆ бꙋ́дꙋтъ ра́вни ѿ до́лꙋ: по томꙋ́жде да бꙋ́дꙋтъ ра́вни ѿ гла́въ въ соста́въ є҆ди́нъ: та́кѡ да сотвори́ши ѻ҆бои́мъ двꙋ́мъ ᲂу҆́гламъ: ра́вни да бꙋ́дꙋтъ.
24 They shall be double beneath, and in the same way they shall be whole to its top to one ring: thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners.
25 И҆ да бꙋ́дꙋтъ ѻ҆́смь столпы̀ и҆ стѡѧ́ла и҆́хъ срє́брѧна шестьна́десѧть: два̀ стѡѧ́ла є҆ди́номꙋ столпꙋ̀ и҆ два̀ стѡѧ́ла дрꙋго́мꙋ столпꙋ̀, на ѻ҆бои́хъ кра́ехъ є҆гѡ̀.
25 There shall be eight boards, and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
26 И҆ да сотвори́ши верєѝ ѿ дре́въ негнїю́щихъ: пѧ́ть вере́й столпꙋ̀ є҆ди́номꙋ ѿ є҆ди́ныѧ страны̀ ски́нїи,
26 “You shall make bars of acacia wood: five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
27 и҆ пѧ́ть вере́й столпꙋ̀ є҆ди́номꙋ вторѣ́й странѣ̀ ски́нїи, и҆ пѧ́ть вере́й столпꙋ̀ за́днемꙋ странѣ̀ ски́нїи, ꙗ҆́же къ мо́рю:
27 and five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the far side westward.
28 и҆ вереѧ̀ сре́днѧѧ посредѣ̀ столпѡ́въ да прохо́дитъ ѿ є҆ди́ныѧ страны̀ въ дрꙋгꙋ́ю странꙋ̀.
28 The middle bar in the middle of the boards shall pass through from end to end.
29 И҆ столпы̀ да позлати́ши зла́томъ: и҆ ко́льца сотвори́ши зла̑та, въ нѧ́же вложи́ши верєѝ: и҆ позлати́ши верєѝ зла́томъ.
29 You shall overlay the boards with gold, and make their rings of gold for places for the bars. You shall overlay the bars with gold.
30 И҆ возста́виши ски́нїю по ѡ҆́бразꙋ пока́занномꙋ тебѣ̀ на горѣ̀.
30 You shall set up the tabernacle according to the way that it was shown to you on the mountain.
31 И҆ да сотвори́ши завѣ́сꙋ ѿ синеты̀ и҆ багрѧни́цы, и҆ червлени́цы ска́ныѧ и҆ вѷссо́на прѧ́денагѡ: дѣ́ломъ тка́нымъ да сотвори́ши ю҆̀ херꙋві́мы.
31 “You shall make a veil of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, with cherubim. It shall be the work of a skillful workman.
32 И҆ возложи́ши ю҆̀ на четы́ри столпы̀ негнїю́щыѧ позлащє́ны зла́томъ: и҆ верхѝ и҆́хъ зла̑ты, и҆ стѡѧ́ла и҆́хъ четы́ри срє́брѧна.
32 You shall hang it on four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold; their hooks shall be of gold, on four sockets of silver.
33 И҆ повѣ́сиши завѣ́сꙋ на столпѣ́хъ, и҆ внесе́ши та́мѡ внꙋ́трь завѣ́сы кївѡ́тъ свидѣ́нїѧ: и҆ раздѣлѧ́ти бꙋ́детъ завѣ́са ва́мъ посредѣ̀ свѧти́лища и҆ посредѣ̀ ст҃а̑ѧ ст҃ы́хъ,
33 You shall hang up the veil under the clasps, and shall bring the ark of the covenant in there within the veil. The veil shall separate the holy place from the most holy for you.
34 и҆ закры́еши завѣ́сою кївѡ́тъ свидѣ́нїѧ во ст҃а̑ѧ ст҃ы́хъ.
34 You shall put the mercy seat on the ark of the covenant in the most holy place.
35 И҆ поста́виши трапе́зꙋ внѣ̀ завѣ́сы, и҆ свѣти́льникъ прѧ́мѡ трапе́зы на странѣ̀ ски́нїи, ꙗ҆́же къ ю҆́гꙋ: и҆ трапе́зꙋ поста́виши на странѣ̀ ски́нїи, ꙗ҆́же къ сѣ́верꙋ.
35 You shall set the table outside the veil, and the lamp stand opposite the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south. You shall put the table on the north side.
36 И҆ да сотвори́ши закро́въ въ две́рехъ ски́нїи ѿ синеты̀ и҆ багрѧни́цы, и҆ червлени́цы ска́ныѧ и҆ вѷссо́на ска́нагѡ, дѣ́ломъ пестрѧ́щагѡ.
36 “You shall make a screen for the door of the Tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the embroiderer.
37 И҆ да сотвори́ши завѣ́сѣ пѧ́ть столпѡ́въ ѿ дре́въ негнїю́щихъ, и҆ позлати́ши и҆̀хъ зла́томъ, и҆ верхѝ и҆́хъ зла̑ты: и҆ да слїе́ши и҆̀мъ пѧ́ть стѡѧ́лъ мѣ́дѧныхъ.
37 You shall make for the screen five pillars of acacia, and overlay them with gold. Their hooks shall be of gold. You shall cast five sockets of bronze for them.

How these were chosen
“Commentary” is the opening of a homily or exposition on this chapter (John Chrysostom’s homilies, Augustine’s tractates, sermons and expositions of the Psalms). “Quotes” are sentences where the edition’s own footnotes identify a quotation of a verse here, kept only when the wording matches the verse. Only works whose authorship is not in doubt are used. Psalms follow the Hebrew/English numbering (Augustine numbers them as the Septuagint does: his Psalm 50 is Psalm 51 here).
Again, they assert that the sun, the great light-giver, was formed on the fourth day, with a reference to the number of the Tetrad. So also, according to them, the courts of the tabernacle constructed by Moses, being composed of fine linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, pointed to the same image.
Among the rest, curtains of haircloth were ordered to be made not ten, but eleven; because by haircloth is signified the confession of sins.

They have carefully enumerated the curtains as being ten, declaring these a type of the ten Æons; but they have forgotten to count the coverings of skin, which were eleven in number.
