Before a home is rooms and routines, it is a gift from the hand of God. We can pour ourselves into our marriage and our children with real love and still grow weary, because no household stands on our effort alone. Today we simply remember who the true builder is, and we ask Him to lay the foundation we cannot lay ourselves.
Una oración (en inglés)
Loving Father, You are the maker of family and the builder of every faithful home. I confess how often I try to hold my household together by my own strength, and I grow tired. Would You build what I cannot build, and watch over the ones I love when I cannot. Teach me to rest in Your care for us, trusting that what You begin, You faithfully sustain. Amen.
