Día 2 · Praying for Your Children
That They Would Know God (en inglés)
Por ahora, los textos de estas oraciones están en inglés. Solo publicamos en español las oraciones cuya traducción podemos verificar en una fuente ortodoxa publicada o en la Reina-Valera 1909.
“These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.”Deuteronomy 6:6-7
Reflexión (en inglés)
Faith is most often passed on not in grand lessons but in the ordinary rhythms of life — around the table, on the way somewhere, at bedtime. We cannot manufacture our children's faith; that is God's work. But we can live a real love for God in front of them, and pray that what they see in us, He will make their own.
Una oración (en inglés)
Lord, more than success or comfort, I long for my children to know You and love You. Make my own faith real and warm, not just words but a life they can see. Weave the truth of Your goodness into our ordinary days. And do what I never can: open their hearts to You, and make faith truly their own. Amen.
Llévalo contigo (en inglés)
What is one ordinary moment this week where your children might catch a glimpse of your faith?
