Día 1 · Praying the Psalms
A Psalm of Praise (en inglés)
Por ahora, los textos de estas oraciones están en inglés. Solo publicamos en español las oraciones cuya traducción podemos verificar en una fuente ortodoxa publicada o en la Reina-Valera 1909.
“Praise the Lord, my soul! All that is within me, praise his holy name! Praise the Lord, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits...”Psalm 103:1-5 (102 LXX)
Reflexión (en inglés)
David preaches to himself: 'Praise the Lord, my soul.' Praise is often a decision before it is a feeling. The Psalms train us to recount God's benefits by name until the heart catches up to the truth.
Una oración (en inglés)
Lord, I tell my own soul to bless You. You forgive, You heal, You redeem, You crown me with love. I will not forget Your benefits. Praise Your holy name. Amen.
Llévalo contigo (en inglés)
Name God's 'benefits' to you, one by one, as the psalm does.
