WEB World English Bible (Classic, with Deuterocanon) 1 Y HABLÓ Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “These are the regulations regarding those who have had a skin disease when having been brought to the priest they are declared clean. 2 Esta será la ley del leproso cuando se limpiare: Será traído al sacerdote:
2 “This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought to the priest,
3 The priest must go outside the camp and inspect the person. If the skin disease has healed, 3 Y el sacerdote saldrá fuera del real; y mirará el sacerdote, y viendo que está sana la plaga de la lepra del leproso,
3 and the priest shall go out of the camp. The priest shall examine him. Behold, if the plague of leprosy is healed in the leper,
4 the priest shall have two ceremonially clean birds brought to him, with some cedar wood, crimson thread, and hyssop, on behalf of the person to be made clean. 4 El sacerdote mandará luego que se tomen para el que se purifica dos avecillas vivas, limpias, y palo de cedro, y grana, é hisopo;
4 then the priest shall command them to take for him who is to be cleansed two living clean birds, cedar wood, scarlet, and hyssop.
5 The priest will order one of the birds to be killed over a clay pot filled with fresh water. 5 Y mandará el sacerdote matar la una avecilla en un vaso de barro sobre aguas vivas;
5 The priest shall command them to kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.
6 He will take the live bird together with the cedar wood, crimson thread, and hyssop, and dip them in the blood of the bird that was killed over the fresh water.
6 As for the living bird, he shall take it, the cedar wood, the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water.
7 He will use the blood to sprinkle seven times the person being made clean of the skin disease. Then the priest will declare them clean and let the live bird fly away.
7 He shall sprinkle on him who is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird go into the open field.
8 The one being made clean must wash their clothes, shave off all their hair, and wash themselves with water; then they will be ceremonially clean. After that they can enter the camp, but they must stay outside their tent for seven days.
8 “He who is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and bathe himself in water; and he shall be clean. After that he shall come into the camp, but shall dwell outside his tent seven days.
9 On the seventh day they must shave off all their hair: their head, beard, eyebrows, and the rest of their hair. They must wash their clothes and wash themselves with water, and they will be clean.
9 It shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows. He shall shave off all his hair. He shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his body in water. Then he shall be clean.
10 On the eighth day they are to bring two male lambs and one female lamb, all a year old and without defects; a grain offering consisting of three-tenths of an ephah of the best flour mixed with olive oil, and one ‘log’ of olive oil.
10 “On the eighth day he shall take two male lambs without defect, one ewe lamb a year old without defect, three tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a meal offering, mixed with oil, and one log of oil.
11 The priest who conducts the ceremony will present the person to be made clean to the Lord, along with these offerings, at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
11 The priest who cleanses him shall set the man who is to be cleansed, and those things, before Yahweh, at the door of the Tent of Meeting.
12 The priest will take one of the male lambs and present it as a guilt offering, together with the log of olive oil; and he will wave them before the Lord as a wave offering.
12 “The priest shall take one of the male lambs, and offer him for a trespass offering, with the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh.
13 Then he will kill the lamb near the sanctuary where the sin offering and burnt offering are killed. The sin offering and the guilt offering belong to the priest; they are most holy.
13 He shall kill the male lamb in the place where they kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the place of the sanctuary; for as the sin offering is the priest’s, so is the trespass offering. It is most holy.
14 The priest will put some of the blood from the guilt offering on their right earlobe, on their right thumb, and on the big toe of their right foot of the person being made clean.
14 The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
15 The priest will pour some of the log of olive oil into his left palm, 15 Asimismo tomará el sacerdote del log de aceite, y echará sobre la palma de su mano izquierda:
15 The priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand.
16 dip his right index finger in it, and using his finger, sprinkle some of the olive oil seven times before the Lord.
16 The priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle some of the oil with his finger seven times before Yahweh.
17 The priest will then use some of the rest of the olive oil remaining in his palm on the person being made clean, and put it on top of the blood of the guilt offering. This will be on their right earlobe, on their right thumb, and on the big toe of their right foot, on top of the blood of the guilt offering.
17 The priest shall put some of the rest of the oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering.
18 What is left of the olive oil in his palm, the priest will put on the head of the person being made clean and then make them right before the Lord.
18 The rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, and the priest shall make atonement for him before Yahweh.
19 The priest will sacrifice the sin offering to make the person right, so that they are now clean from their uncleanness. After that, the priest will kill the burnt offering 19 Ofrecerá luego el sacerdote el sacrificio por el pecado, y hará expiación por el que se ha de purificar de su inmundicia, y después degollará el holocausto:
19 “The priest shall offer the sin offering, and make atonement for him who is to be cleansed because of his uncleanness. Afterward he shall kill the burnt offering;
20 and offer it on the altar, together with the grain offering, to make them right, and they will be clean.
20 then the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meal offering on the altar. The priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean.
21 But those who are poor and can't afford these offerings must bring one male lamb as a guilt offering to be waved to make them right, as well as a tenth an ephah of the best flour mixed with olive oil for a grain offering, a log of olive oil, 21 Mas si fuere pobre, que no alcanzare su mano á tanto, entonces tomará un cordero para ser ofrecido como ofrenda agitada por la culpa, para reconciliarse, y una décima de flor de harina amasada con aceite para presente, y un log de aceite;
21 “If he is poor, and can’t afford so much, then he shall take one male lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make atonement for him, and one tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a meal offering, and a log of oil;
22 and two turtledoves or two young pigeons, whichever they can afford. One is to be used as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. 22 Y dos tórtolas, ó dos palominos, lo que alcanzare su mano: y el uno será para expiación por el pecado, y el otro para holocausto;
22 and two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to afford; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.
23 On the eighth day they are to take them to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting before the Lord so they can be made clean.
23 “On the eighth day he shall bring them for his cleansing to the priest, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, before Yahweh.
24 The priest will take the lamb for the guilt offering, together with the log of olive oil, and wave them as a wave offering before the Lord. 24 Y el sacerdote tomará el cordero de la expiación por la culpa, y el log de aceite, y mecerálo el sacerdote como ofrenda agitada delante de Jehová;
24 The priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh.
25 After he kills the lamb for the guilt offering, the priest will take some of the blood of the guilt offering and put it on the right earlobe of the one being made clean, on their right thumb, and on the big toe of their right foot.
25 He shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering. The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering and put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
26 Then the priest will pour some of the olive oil into his left palm 26 Y el sacerdote echará del aceite sobre la palma de su mano izquierda;
26 The priest shall pour some of the oil into the palm of his own left hand;
27 and using his right index finger, will sprinkle some of the oil from his left palm seven times before the Lord.
27 and the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before Yahweh.
28 The priest shall also put some of the olive oil in his palm on the right earlobe of the person being made clean, on their right thumb, and on the big toe of their right foot, in the same places as the blood of the guilt offering.
28 Then the priest shall put some of the oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on the place of the blood of the trespass offering.
29 What is left of the olive oil in his palm, the priest will put on the head of the person being made clean and then make them right before the Lord.
29 The rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, to make atonement for him before Yahweh.
30 Then they must sacrifice one of the turtledoves or young pigeons, whichever they can afford, 30 Asimismo ofrecerá la una de las tórtolas, ó de los palominos, lo que alcanzare su mano:
30 He shall offer one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, which ever he is able to afford,
31 one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, along with the grain offering. This is how the priest will make the person right and clean before the Lord.
31 of the kind he is able to afford, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meal offering. The priest shall make atonement for him who is to be cleansed before Yahweh.”
32 These are the regulations for those who have a skin disease and can't afford the usual offerings to make people clean.” 32 Esta es la ley del que hubiere tenido plaga de lepra, cuya mano no alcanzare [lo prescrito] para purificarse.
32 This is the law for him in whom is the plague of leprosy, who is not able to afford the sacrifice for his cleansing.
33 Then the Lord told Moses and Aaron, 33 Y habló Jehová á Moisés y á Aarón, diciendo:
33 Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
34 “When you get to Canaan, the land I'm giving you to own, if I put some mold into a house there and contaminate it, 34 Cuando hubieres entrado en la tierra de Canaán, la cual yo os doy en posesión, y pusiere yo plaga de lepra en alguna casa de la tierra de vuestra posesión,
34 “When you have come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put a spreading mildew in a house in the land of your possession,
35 the owner of the house must come and tell the priest, ‘It seems my house has something like mold.’ 35 Vendrá aquél cuya fuere la casa, y dará aviso al sacerdote, diciendo: Como plaga ha aparecido en mi casa.
35 then he who owns the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, ‘There seems to me to be some sort of plague in the house.’
36 The priest must order the house to be emptied before he goes in to inspect the mold, so that nothing in the house will be declared unclean. Once that's done, the priest is to go in and inspect the house.
36 The priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest goes in to examine the plague, that all that is in the house not be made unclean. Afterward the priest shall go in to inspect the house.
37 He will examine the house and see if the mold on the walls is made up of green or red indentations that go under the surface, 37 Y mirará la plaga: y si se vieren manchas en las paredes de la casa, cavernillas verdosas ó rojas, las cuales parecieren más hundidas que la pared,
37 He shall examine the plague; and behold, if the plague is in the walls of the house with hollow streaks, greenish or reddish, and it appears to be deeper than the wall,
38 the priest shall go out of the door and seal the house for seven days.
38 then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days.
39 On the seventh day the priest will return and inspect the house again. If the mold has spread on the walls, 39 Y al séptimo día volverá el sacerdote, y mirará: y si la plaga hubiere crecido en las paredes de la casa,
39 The priest shall come again on the seventh day, and look. If the plague has spread in the walls of the house,
40 he will order the affected stones to be removed and disposed of in an unclean area outside the town.
40 then the priest shall command that they take out the stones in which is the plague, and cast them into an unclean place outside of the city.
41 Then he will order all the plaster inside of the house to be scraped off and dumped in an unclean area outside the town.
41 He shall cause the inside of the house to be scraped all over. They shall pour out the mortar that they scraped off outside of the city into an unclean place.
42 Different stones must be used to replace the ones removed, and new plaster will be needed to replaster the house.
42 They shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other mortar, and shall plaster the house.
43 If the mold returns and affects the house again even after the stones have been removed and the house has been scraped and replastered, 43 Y si la plaga volviere á reverdecer en aquella casa, después que hizo arrancar las piedras, y descostrar la casa, y después que fué encostrada,
43 “If the plague comes again, and breaks out in the house after he has taken out the stones, and after he has scraped the house, and after it was plastered,
44 the priest must come and inspect it. If he sees the mold has spread in the house, it is a harmful mold; the house is unclean.
44 then the priest shall come in and look; and behold, if the plague has spread in the house, it is a destructive mildew in the house. It is unclean.
45 It must be demolished, and all its stones, timbers, and plaster must be taken and dumped in an unclean area outside the town.
45 He shall break down the house, its stones, and its timber, and all the house’s mortar. He shall carry them out of the city into an unclean place.
46 Anyone who goes into the house during any time that it is sealed will be unclean until the evening.
46 “Moreover he who goes into the house while it is shut up shall be unclean until the evening.
47 Anyone who sleeps or eats in the house must wash their clothes.
47 He who lies down in the house shall wash his clothes; and he who eats in the house shall wash his clothes.
48 However, if when the priest comes and inspects it and finds that the mold hasn't reappeared after the house was replastered, he shall declare the house clean because the mold is gone.
48 “If the priest shall come in, and examine it, and behold, the plague hasn’t spread in the house, after the house was plastered, then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.
49 He will bring two birds, cedar wood, crimson thread, and hyssop to make the house clean.
49 To cleanse the house he shall take two birds, cedar wood, scarlet, and hyssop.
50 He will kill one of the birds over a clay pot filled with fresh water.
50 He shall kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.
51 He will dip the live bird, the cedar wood, crimson thread, and hyssop, in the blood of the bird that was killed and the fresh water, and sprinkle the house seven times.
51 He shall take the cedar wood, the hyssop, the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times.
52 He will make the house clean with the bird's blood, the fresh water, the live bird, the cedar wood, the hyssop, and the crimson thread.
52 He shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, with the living bird, with the cedar wood, with the hyssop, and with the scarlet;
53 Then he will let the live bird fly away outside the town. This is how he will make the house right, and it will be clean.
53 but he shall let the living bird go out of the city into the open field. So shall he make atonement for the house; and it shall be clean.”
54 These are the regulations for any infectious skin disease, for a scabby infection, 54 Esta es la ley acerca de toda plaga de lepra, y de tiña;
54 This is the law for any plague of leprosy, and for an itch,
55 for mold on clothing and in a house, 55 Y de la lepra del vestido, y de la casa;
55 and for the destructive mildew of a garment, and for a house,
56 as well as for a swelling, rash, or spot.
56 and for a swelling, and for a scab, and for a bright spot;
57 They are used to decide whether something is clean or unclean. These are the regulations regarding skin diseases and mold.” 57 Para enseñar cuándo es inmundo, y cuándo limpio.
57 to teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean. This is the law of leprosy.
