1 As the chorus of “Mahanaim.” How beautiful were your feet with sandals, O daughter of Nadib. The turnings of your sides [are] as ornaments, || Work of the hands of a craftsman.
1 ¡CUÁN hermosos son tus pies en los calzados, oh hija de príncipe! Los contornos de tus muslos son como joyas, obra de mano de excelente maestro.
2 Your waist [is] a basin of roundness, || It does not lack the mixture, || Your body a heap of wheat, fenced with lilies,
2 Tu ombligo, [como] una taza redonda, que no le falta bebida. Tu vientre, [como] montón de trigo, cercado de lirios.
3 Your two breasts as two young ones, twins of a roe,
3 Tus dos pechos, como dos cabritos mellizos de gama.
4 Your neck as a tower of the ivory, || Your eyes pools in Heshbon, near the Gate of Bath-Rabbim, || Your face as a tower of Lebanon looking to Damascus,
4 Tu cuello, como torre de marfil; tus ojos, [como] las pesqueras de Hesbón junto á la puerta de Batrabbim; tu nariz, como la torre del Líbano, que mira hacia Damasco.
5 Your head on you as Carmel, || And the locks of your head as purple, || The king is bound with the flowings!
5 Tu cabeza encima de ti, como el Carmelo; y el cabello de tu cabeza, como la púrpura del rey ligada en los corredores.
6 How beautiful and how pleasant you have been, || O love, in delights.
6 ¡Qué hermosa eres, y cuán suave, oh amor deleitoso!
7 This your stature has been like to a palm, || And your breasts to clusters.
7 ¡Y tu estatura es semejante á la palma, y tus pechos á los racimos!
8 I said, “Let me go up on the palm, || Let me lay hold on its boughs,” || Indeed, let your breasts now be as clusters of the vine, || And the fragrance of your face as citrons,
8 Yo dije: Subiré á la palma, asiré sus ramos: y tus pechos serán ahora como racimos de vid, y el olor de tu boca como de manzanas;
9 And your palate as the good wine—Flowing to my beloved in uprightness, || Strengthening the lips of the aged!
9 Y tu paladar como el buen vino, que se entra á mi amado suavemente, y hace hablar los labios de los viejos.
10 I [am] my beloved’s, and on me [is] his desire.
10 Yo soy de mi amado, y conmigo tiene su contentamiento.
11 Come, my beloved, we go forth to the field,
11 Ven, oh amado mío, salgamos al campo, moremos en las aldeas.
12 We lodge in the villages, we go early to the vineyards, || We see if the vine has flourished, || The sweet smelling-flower has opened. The pomegranates have blossomed, || There I give to you my loves;
12 Levantémonos de mañana á las viñas; veamos si brotan las vides, si se abre el cierne, si han florecido los granados; allí te daré mis amores.
13 The mandrakes have given fragrance, || And at our openings all pleasant things, || New, indeed, old, my beloved, I laid up for you!
13 Las mandrágoras han dado olor, y á nuestras puertas hay toda suerte de dulces frutas, nuevas y añejas, que para ti, oh amado mío, he guardado.
